I am okay with either but I wish the weather would make up it's fucking mind.

Tonight is a soup night. Of course, my husband is taking every opportunity to tell me how right he was to tell me not to change from our down blanket to a spring one.
I hate when that happens.

"I used to live in San Francisco. When I first moved here it was foggy and rainy and cold for two months. I thought terrific, it is sort of romantic. I'll break up an old chair for kindling, buy a bottle of wine and sit in front of the fire for a day. Two months a hopeless alcoholic with no furniture."

I just threw the Al Gore line for fun. You'll find I'm on the "yeah, global warming is real" side of the debate.

But I live in a place where it doesn't usually get terribly, terribly cold. Winter lows are usually in the upper 30's, and a freeze means the weather folks telling us all to be very, very careful, stay home if we have to, the puddles have frozen. It's nice that it rarely gets bitter cold, but it's unfortunate that no one here understands the cold. That includes the people who build, heat, and insulate buildings. I find myself wanting to wear gloves indoors between November and March, which never happened when I lived in Minnesota. I'm glad to be away from a place where you can say "ten below" and everyone just knows it means below zero, but I wish I could have taken the indoor heat with me.

Seriously, we have a spare bedroom, come get some heat.

I’ll settle for Fall weather where it’s not too cold and definitely not hot!

BTW I will b in miami this weekend, any haters care to join me at the beach or clubbing in south beach?
Plus, Sweet Baby James was the real inspiration for You're So Vain.
Or so I've been told.
Or so I've been told.

It was certainly never about JT.
Who makes me feel three years old in my footie pajamas when my parents were fighting but I didn't quite get that, I just knew that my dad was spinning records and I got to stay up waaaaaaaay past my bedtime and sit on the speaker. Like Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young.
Carly Simon mostly reminds me of the tape deck in my mom's car, going to day care. Boys In The Trees, specifically. We drove by a pond with ducks every day.
