I started WICKED LOVELY last night.

Miss Amelia (missameliatxva) Amber wrote: "I just finished Incarceron and I am starting The Knife of Never Letting Go. Someone please tell me it's going to get better."

sorry to say, but SAPPHIQUE (the sequel to INCARCERON) is not loads better. The plot is more interesting, I think, because you've pretty much figured everything basic out in INCARCERON, but the characters are WORSE. much worse :(

message 380: by Miss Amelia (new)

Miss Amelia (missameliatxva) oh. I have no idea :S

Miss Amelia (missameliatxva) Amber wrote: "Darn. And double darn to Sapphique being terrible."

well it wasnt TERRIBLE... the plot was pretty interesting, but the characters were just so "wooden". Ever read books like that?
I would still recommend reading it, if for no other reason than it'll give you peace of mind as to how the story ends. :]

message 383: by ★ Jess (new)

★ Jess | 4295 comments Mod
Wooden characters. yes. The sequel to Amelia's favorite book...INK EXCHANGE. Shocking. characters are so wooden, I swear they had splinters. (sorry for the corny joke :P)

Oh, and Amber-I have THE KNIFE OF NEVER LETTING GO and THE ASK AND THE ANSWER at home. Ive heart they are good, and endings great...
i was gonna read that too. It would be cool if we were both reading it at the same time. But I chose THE BOOK THIEF instead.
So far thats exceptional!

Ella Enchanted is one of my favorite books ever! I love that book. Her newer one The two Princesses of Bamarre was really good too.

I just finished the first 39 clue book, anybody read it? I'm pretty sure its by Rick Riordan as well...

message 387: by Rebekah Faith (last edited Apr 21, 2010 01:33PM) (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments 2 princesses was the first of her's that i'd ever read. 2 Princesses and Ella Enchanted are in competition for my next fave books after PJO and HP. i liked Ever by GCl too. it came out in 08 hahaa :)
