Alexander | 3 comments I've just finished reading The Crystal of Yggdrasil the first installment of Aki and the Spheres of Time and I really enjoyed it.
It's an amazing middle grade book.
If you like mythology, you don't have to miss it.
See my review.

The 5th wave

message 3513: by Mia (new)

Mia Greenwood (greenwoodad) | 6 comments I am reading Winter by Marissa Meyer. This book is so captivating. It has made me laugh and cry. I'm a little over half-way through and can barely put it down. Personally I believe that this is the best out of the entire series, but you should totally go read it and then friend me so we can talk about it... just saying! :)

message 3514: by Sara (last edited Mar 12, 2016 02:14AM) (new)

Sara | 11 comments The Hound of The Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Though sometimes difficult to understand the book itself is addictive, naturally being by Conan Doyle who created the great Detective Sherlock Holmes that has so influenced the world like Harry Potter. It is also my favourite episode in the modernised TV series staring Benedict Cumberbatch. I'd like to see how it was modernised and how the name was changed from the original. I'd also like a better insight into Doctor John Watson. Pity I don't have time to read as much as I want. The language used is memorable and very alluring as it's not the kind we use today.

I heard the Spooks series and Harry Potter is the best!

message 3516: by Bibliogothica (new)

Bibliogothica Hey, sorry it's been a while since I've been on.
And yes, those series are pretty good, although I think that in my opinion, the Harry Potter Series are better.

While I'm here I might as well say what I'm reading at the moment.
So here it is:
Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth by Veronica Roth
So far it's very enjoyable but I didn't know that (view spoiler). The movie is quite similar to the book, but there are parts ,here and there ,that got left out in the movie that are in the book.

message 3519: by Ace (new)

Ace | 7 comments I'am reading Dragon Rider

It's a good book but for some reason the image I think of when I read this book is always dark and I'am getting a little bored towards the end. That never happens to me.

message 3520: by Mellenie (new)

Mellenie | 7 comments Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry

I haven't gotten very far in this book at all, but I loved the first one (and the third one which I accidently read before this).

Olivia (oliviagracep) Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas. It is really good so far!

message 3525: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Hansen | 30 comments I'm reading the Just City by Jo Walton. It's not really a kids book or even YA but it's really interesting and I'm enjoying it a lot. It's got Greek gods in and philosophy and it's kind of a utopia/distopia and there's time travel and it's just the kind of twisted crazy book I really like to read.☺

message 3526: by Rhys (new)

Rhys (haydenrhys) I'm reading front lines by Michael Grant and Illuminae by Amir Kaufman and someone I can't remember. There both really good.

message 3527: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, I kinda already finished it, but Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe. I loved it. Then again, I tend to like gay things.

Queen of Shadows is a book I'm currently reading. So is Blood of Olympus (I know, I'm late) and Boot Camp.
