Me too!!!! I have read it twice, and might read it a third time this summer if I have time! :)
I'm reading The Giver by Lois Lowry!! I guess its my new favorite book (aside from the HP Series of course) You have to read it if you haven't already.

Still need to read the other four, but they are more of a stand alone series, so even with time inbetween they are still good! :)

I still need to read the fourth book, but I hear it ties everything together. And I think it is good to read the second book before the third, but you would not have to. The first and second seem pretty much unrelated until the third book.

I just found out there were more books a few months ago. I read the first over 10 years ago, but remember so much of it. Such a good book! So, I read Gathering Blue about a month ago and if I ever get time I will be reading the others as well. I am interested to see how the movie will handle everything from the book....
pheft. I have given up all hope for the movie. It is a star studded cast. It is like they have no faith in people going to see it that they had to throw a bunch of stars in there to get people to come. Oh, and Taylor Swift is cast in it. I don't care what you think about her singing, but she cannot act.
I agree! I also do not like that the actor playing Jonah is so old. Why can't they seen to ever get that right in movies? Oh well.... I will likely see it, hate it, and then talk about the differences with everyone I meet for a while so they also know how bad of a job they did! haha
yeah, I don't care for who they have playing most of the characters.
I expect to do the same thing! haha :)

I loved the Dear America books, but I could never find a Dear Canada book here
I have never heard of the Dear America books, but just did and they look really interesting and also informative! I might need to add those to the mega list of books I want to read!
I'm an currently reading Paper Towns by John Green I know it's mainstream aha I just find myself looking for the plot in the story
I am reading the Ruins of Gorlan the first book in the Ranger's Apprentice series really good so far love it and can't wait to read the next books in the series. If you guys have read it what did you think?

But it looks fun, so maybe one of these days! ;)

I read the first two in that series! I really liked it, but other books have gotten in the way and I did not get any father than that. I hope to read more of them this summer!

Right now, I'm reading Allegiant and when I finish that I will be reading The Fault In Our Stars. I hope it's good but I've heard it's sad.
You'll probably cry in both books. I loved Allegiant! That is an awesome trilogy! I have yet to read The Fault in Our Stars, but everyone I know who has read it has cried....

Halt and Will are honestly two of my favourite heroes of all time!!!
@Food for Thought: Have you read the BrotherBand series? Is it as good as the Ranger books?
Rebecca Morstan-Watson wrote: "@Food for Thought: Have you read the BrotherBand series? Good to hear! Now I can look forward to that series when I finish the Ranger books.
My library doesn't have the Brotherband books at all, but I can barrow them from some else. Hopefully you can too!

Sounds like the Ranger books are a great series to read thanks for that and then maybe I will read the Brother Band if it is ad good
I'm reading opal, the third book to the lux series...I am seriously in love with these books, I think they've become an addiction
The Tempest (English)The Bad Beginning (Book Club)
Uglies (Was for Book Club)
Harry Potter and the half blood prince (Fun)
Silver like dust (Fun)
I am currently reading "The Doodleburghs" and "Life And Times Of The Doodleburghs". It is a cute series and one that me and my family have enjoyed immensely. It is fun for all ages and would recommend it to anyone looking for a humorous family friendly book. the chapters are short and the characters are amusing. Each chapter consists of the most mundane of events escalating into a comedic disaster. If you are your kids are looking for a book that you can read and reread time and time again definitely give this series a shot.
