Nikki (iamgodsprincess) | 14 comments guys, I have a problem. I was supposed to have the Catching fire and Mockingjay recently, somebody will buy it for me. But when my "sponsor" searched about it, she found out that there's violence on it. Now, she doesn't want to buy it unless I convinced her that it was a good one. Can you help me give some convincing words?

message 2869: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 6788 comments Just finished reading To Kill A Mockingbird for school, and I loved it. :)

Currently on Alex Flinn's Breathing Underwater-- it's REALLY interesting and you get into the head of the main character (who abused his girlfriend, not a spoiler, you find that out within the first 10 pages) and you get a feel for what things are really like inside the heads of people just like him.

As for me, I'm reading this book called Sempre (Forever), which I didn't realize until a couple hours ago was a Twilight fanfiction. Again.

message 2890: by Kea (new)

Kea Alwang (kea_alwang) | 11 comments Reading Crossed by Ally Condi, but having a tough time getting through it. So far, I liked Matched better. I like the character interactions in Crossed...but so much seems so drawn out. I don't know...maybe it's my mood? Also, somehow the whole Xander/Ky deal is worse to navigate than Peeta/Gale.

message 2891: by Sophia (last edited May 15, 2012 01:25PM) (new)

Sophia (sophiacsek) | 7 comments I'm almost finished with Princess in Pinkby Meg Cabot. When I'm done with that I'll hopefully be able to get The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but its been on hold forever! If I can't most likely I'll be starting An Abundance of Katherines.

I also just finished Belle Prater's Boy for school.. It was overall okay read, but it won a Newbery Honor medal so I'd check it out possibly.

I litereally just skimmed most of Crossed. There's not a whole lot of activity. Definitely prefer Matched.
