The Familiars - I listened to the two authors at a recent book fair here in Portland, Oregon and they were so funny. The book is really good - lots of adventure, magic, mystery...best for upper middle grade.
I'm reading Pride and Prejudice. So far it's great, but I'm only 40% through with it and I need it finished for school by tomorrow :/

Finished
and a book called " Im Late " by: Mari Evans ( that i couldnt find ) this morning .Reading Next :
and
i just finished A Million Little Pieces, by James Frey, and now I'm reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
Casey- how did you like A Million Little Pieces? I read it over the summer and really enjoyed reading it. It actually changed my perspective on a few things.

Really? That's weird, because half the point of the book was that he was writing letters. (although part of my problem with the book is that it wasn't letters. It was a first person POV with dear friend at the beginning and from Charlie at the end. You don't say you changed someone's name, and then explain the story behind Patrick's nickname. Clearly, Nothing can not be replaced with anything else)
SPOILER ALERT:He killed a major character. And in the end of every single book, he was mean and made everything go wrong. I stopped caring about the characters because I knew he would do something cruel.
Oh, yeah. That.....I predicted how every book would end from the very first page, because they all followed that formula. But Leviathan is really different, and in my opinion, better.
Really? That makes me happy! I'd love it if Scott Westerfeld makes an amazing book. His writing is masterful, indeed, he's just cruel sometimes.
I'm reading "Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow" It's my least fave. out of Jessica Day George's books but it's okay :)

"That's true. Divergent should be on everybody's currently reading lists. (Unless you're already finished.) And then you should be commenting here.
Cardsharp: A Vincent Ward AdventureAbout half way through and thoroughly enjoying it. It's like a comic book crime caper set in the artworld.
Excitement, adventure and twists and turns.

Currently just started Devoted. I will definitely check out some previously mentioned books for the future as well!
Melanie wrote: "just finished Inheritance"Lucky. I have to wait until it comes in for me at the library, and then until I actually have time to read it.
I just read 11/22/63 by Stephen King, and I'm now reading The Ogre of Oglefort by Eva Ibbotson. I love her books so much.
It was good. I thought the ending felt like it was just tacked on, but overall I really like it.And Sakura, Artemis Fowl starts off slow, but it gets good quick. I really like those books, especially the first.
Ok Kate, I'm gonna try it harder hehe, it just that I was looking for an awesome saga (I'm still looking for my next HP...)
Yeah, I wouldn't go that far, but they're very good. If you can, go in expecting very little from it, so that you won't be disappointed. (I know that's really hard to do) Even the best books can be ruined if you expect too much from them.
I put all other books on hold to read
been wait 3 years! lol
started
seems pretty brutal...but good so far

I had to try it 2 or 3 times before I could get into it.
