I don't think Natalie was being serious, as indicated by the smiley face :PSee, I put a smiley face up too :P
There's another one!
I've put aside Desperation by Stephan King for the time being: I just cant get into it! Earlier today I started Smoke and Mirrors by Neil Gaiman, and am LOVING IT TO PIECES thus far :)

. Quite interesting so far."My friend told me that was amazing. I haven't had a chance to get it yet though.
Diana wrote: "I'm almost halfway through

Julia wrote: "i just got done with graceling"Did you like it? Because that's one of my favourite books! I really loved it!

what did you think?
what did you think?
Wreck this journal is the "book" i'm reading, although you can't really read it, i've got about 4 books that are coming my way in the mail, 2 were giveaways and 2 i bought, so soon i'm going to be reading those. the next one that i'm planning on reading that's comiong is the Phantom of the Opera, by Leroux
We sure do. :)I'm about half-way done with Someone Like You. Gah, everytime I hear 'someone like you', i start siniging the Adele song in my head.
:)I finished The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks and started (but was so enthralled with that I am about to finish) Little Bee
Oh no! A smilie war! Whatever shall we do? o.OStill reading Party Princess by Meg Cabot. It's book 7 in the Princess Diaries series, and I'm almost developing a different opinion of certain books in the series than i was when I first read the series about 2 years ago- which is not completely strange, but I tend to keep the same opinions of some books.
Let's try to direct the posts back to the original topic, ladies. Yall are more than welcome to start your own smiley topic where you can post smileys if you want :P
Hahaha, we do TRY and stay on topic most of the time. ^_^Caged in Darkness by our very own member, J.D. Stroube! I'm quite enjoying it so far.
I just finished Eating Animals ( Review here ), and I will be starting Batman: Dark Victory tonight.
Just started Ender's Game and The Elusive Pimpernel on the plane today. And finished Getting the Girl this week.

Monkey. ^_^
And just for the record... There ARE smilies in there. :) OH!
And yes Kate. Poor Natalie. :( :)
Taylor wrote: "Just started Ender's Game and The Elusive Pimpernel on the plane today. And finished Getting the Girl this week."Ender's Game is fantastic, I've been reading the sequels and they're great too. I hope you like it!
This is slightly off topic, but I really can't stand constant self-promoting. Like if you're an author and you get on a site and are constantly talking about how people should read your book, it makes me personally NOT want to read the book in question.Anyways sorry, that was just on my mind and I felt like I needed to get that out there.
Kate wrote: "Sometimes. I like the cyclops. I don't have any good smileys. :(I love Enders Game."
hahaha, thanks! aww, you can make one up!
Rae*WrockerGirl*Ruhbacon* wrote: "This is slightly off topic, but I really can't stand constant self-promoting. Yeah, I agree with Rae and Amelia. I understand feeling proud and wanting people to read your stuff, but at some point (pretty soon actually) it just gets annoying.z / \

(-_-) it's a wizard (ignore the z. goodreads wasn't registering spaces)
It's fabulous, Kate! lolz. i like it. ^_^Amelia and Kate- It really irks me, and I've been seeing a lot of it lately but I don't say anything because i'm trying to be nice about it.
*sighs* Ally Carter, that's a good writer.......*needs Uncommon Criminals*
Thanks. I tried. ._.I waited forever for that book to come in at the library, and right when it would have, I went to camp. But I got it eventually so all was well. It was good.
Hahaha You're welcome. My library still doesn't have it. I couldve gotten it when I got GCL's new book, but I had been waiting more anxiously for GCL's book.
Finally got a copy of Gail Carriger's Heartless from my work, so I'm going to be starting that once I get caught up on things that I let fall to the wayside while I started initial recovery from getting my wisdom teeth removed. :/
Also, still reading Delusions of Gender.
