Getting back into reading manga for some reason. I go in spurts. I'll read tons of manga, then go awhile without, then read more manga. It's a cycle, lol. (Ugh, practically everything I do is in cycles.)

I am currently reading Beautiful Darkness :D it's the second book in the caster chronicles and so far it's pretty good!
Eugh, Amelia: I cant find it anywhere! Ive looked in every bookshop I know, and I cant find a copy anywhere :(
I just started The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan. Awesome title, right? And awesome cover too:
I had high expectations, and so far so good!
Has anyone else in the group read it?

I keep meaning to. I've gotten it out multiple times, but haven't had the chance to read it before it's due. Should I try again?
I just started
by Scott Westerfeld. Pretty interesting so far, although some parts want to make me want to tear the book apart because of how shallow it can be.
Behemoth by Scott WesterfeldThe Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
Eon: Dragoneye Reborn by Alison Goodman
Allie, how are you liking the knife of never letting go?
I think its amazing, definitely one of my favorites! The sequels are even better.

Right now, im reading the last post on this thread. lmaoo. Im reading nothing, shock horror first time in a long time although i have just finished the curious incident of the dog in the night time. Don't be put off by the tittle its a fantastic inside the mind of someone with aspergers syndrome. It was unlike any book ive every read before.
Millie wrote: "Right now, im reading the last post on this thread. lmaoo. Im reading nothing, shock horror first time in a long time although i have just finished the curious incident of the dog in the night time..."The title is from a Sherlock Holmes story.
Are they better, Jessica? I thought the first was good enough, but didn't love it.
It really is. I had to wait for forever before reading Rumors since it was checked out for like a month.
Kate, are you talking about The Knife of Never Letting Go?
Yes, the second is Berger, and the third is the best. Like, a billion times better, I can't recommend them enough. The final climax of Monsters of Men is so visual, heartfelt and epic. It's sensational. Please, please, please read on :)
The Luxe...haha, my friend Caitlin was reading that last year, and we had to do a book report to the class, and say who we recommend it for. Caitlin. Hated it and said: I recommend this book to all of you.......who wish to die of boredom.

Lol, I agree about THE LUXE. I was turned off by the tagline "Gossip Girl in the 19th century!" or whatever it was. My friend, who actually read the first one, summed it up in the following sentence: "A book about a bunch of rich skanks in huge dresses." Lol.
And Jessica, booooooo! I went to the bookstore today to return a book (Chime - got two chapters in, skimmed the rest, and deemed it 'crap') and was like "I'm going to use the refund money to buy MONSTERS OF MEN! But then I totally forgot and left the store! And then I spent the refund money on jewelry. Boooo! I feel so ashamed!
I want me some more TODD!
I'm reading City of Bones. I's the first day of Spring Break. I wonder how many books I can finish. My goal is three, since I don't want to be stuck in the house every day.

I hope you like it! Its certainly a lot of fun and an entertaining read, though its not great. You can tell Clare is trying to write the next Harry Potter, but falls short. Let me know what you think :)
In holidays, I usually spend very little time reading inside during the day, but stay up to 4AM making up for lost reading time.
Amelia: Shameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! You need to read MoM! Greatest book in the series!!!!

Don't these writers know that they can not be the NEXT whatever unless, that's just what they are... no trying, no hoping, no praying... they just are.... Anyway.. I'm reading
Gone by Michael Grant

I only have about 100 pages left, so I'm going to finish it today, and raising my goal to five books.
I do that to! I finished Harry Potter at 3:07 in the morning! To me, books wake me up... not make me fall asleep, like TV does.
Books wake me up, which is a problem, because that means either I read or I go to bed at a reasonable time, but I can never do both.
Yeah, during the summer I go to bed at 3, because I'm always reading. Sometimes my mom has to come in and says, "Nat, time to go to bed." Third time she comes in, she takes my book away :( And sometimes that's my grounding. Books. It's terrible!
Kate wrote: "Books wake me up, which is a problem, because that means either I read or I go to bed at a reasonable time, but I can never do both."I am the same way!
Just about to start The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan. Its the companion/sequel to The Forest of Hands and Teeth.
Finished The Ghoul Next Door in four hours... Two books down, three more to go. And I'm expecting Kingom Keepers 4 today, which I can crank out tonight. Probably.
I would highly recommend it, Amelia. I think you might enjoy it, even if there is a love-triangle/square. But its okay, Carrie Ryan does an excellent job at keeping it under wraps, and doesnt let it take hold of the story. I hope you check it out :)
Having said that, I am reading Animal Farm by George Orwell, not The Dead Tossed Waves.
Simply because DTW takes place years after its processor, and reading it directly after would ruin it, because I was feeling bitter and sour that Mary wasnt in it much. But yeah, Ill read it next :)

Finished the majority of my manga binge, so I'll more than likely go back to working on the Warriors book I'm currently reading. After that will probably be some YA LGBTQ fiction, but I haven't decided which works.

I have to rebuy my HP book collection. :( I had to sell it and it killed me (still does). :(
I live Harry Potter, but I also love Twilight. People seem to think that's impossible, but I assure you, I love them both equally.I'm reading City of Fallen Angels
I don't own my own set of HP's, but I'm BEGGING my parents for them. But we don't really have enough money for them, so yeah...I love Harry Potter and Twilight too, but HP beats Twilight by a 1000000000000000000000000.

I used to move a lot and lose my HP books, so I started to practicly colect them. I have two copies of the first, second, fifth, and seventh (although I have two of the seventh because my fell about due to mass production and I bought a new one, and I still have the old one because my dad bought if for me).
I'm still kicking myself over my HP collection. I had the original hardbacks of the first four books, but then when I went off to college I gave them to my little cousins. Then when I got back into the series, I bought all the books (paperback), but they were the ugly kind that didn't have the embossed, shiny title covers :(
Im reading 13 Reasons Why and Gone
