I want to read that book so badly! Please tell me how it turns out.
Currently Reading: The Knife of Never Letting Go.
Just finished Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. It was so different from the play, but parts of it made way more sense than the play when compared to the L. Frank Baum books.
What would you give it out of five?
I am not sure weather or not to read it. Ive heard VERY mixed reviews.
However, I saw the musical in London, and LOVED IT!

I'm not sure what I would give it. Maybe a three. I wouldn't think about the play while reading it, because it's VERY different. (I felt like the book was based off of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz while the play was based off of the movie.)My main complaint was that there were a few pretty inappropriate scenes, particularly at the beginning, but I just kind of skipped over those parts, and I didn't really miss anything.
I'm taking a bit of a break and right now just reading through a book on Asian Cinema called....Asian Cinema. This is until I get my Samuel Beckett books in the mail.
I'm reading Wish by Alexandra Bullen. It feels like one of those realistic novels that Sarah Dessen writes, although there is an under layer of magic in it. It's really good so far. I'm rereading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I love it, though it's not as serious as the last few books are, and I can't wait to get to those! :)
Booklover23 wrote: "Kate, would you recommend it?"I don't know if I would recommend it. I'm still trying to work out my own feelings about it.
I guess I would say, don't rush out to buy it, but read it when you get the chance, if you know what I mean?
i'm reading The Canterbury Tales i'm really enjoying it but i have been really suprised by how.... adult it is. i wouldnt recomend this book to anyone younger then.... probably 16 at least. but its still funny and very good! an awesome classic book.
I finished the Harry Potter series last night (AMAZING!) and have now started The Poison Garden
I love the cover :)
I love the cover :)
I love The Three Musketeers - it's such a fun read. The Count of Monte Cristo is amazing too.I'm about to start The Maltese Falcon.
Oh, I adore the Count of Monte Cristo.I'm probably gonna start Tarzan of the Apes on my Kindle over the weekend.
Samuel Beckett stuff FINALLY came in the mail, so I am reading his story Molloy. Basically the first half is one 80 page long paragraph with very little plot, and instead a whole bunch of weird asides. I'm finally starting to catch onto the whole thing, and it is a joy. For whatever reason Beckett always makes me feel better.
I am reading:Dead Beautiful
May Bird Among the Stars
The Dead and the Gone
Vampire Academy
Fallen
Dreaming Anastasia
Dreadful Sorry

An 80 page long paragraph?....wow.

Booklover23 wrote: "which book are you reading for school?"For school I'm reading The Book of Negroes. It doesn't show up when I want to add it, though. It is really great :)
I'm starting A Great and Terrible Beauty (barely) and Wish by Alexandra Bullen. I've been stuck on Wish for a very long time now, so I hope I'll be able to get through with it this time! I'm currently reading Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins. I think it's slightly fell short of Hex Hall, but then again, it's hard to make the sequel better than the first.
Really? I'm planning on reading it soon. I have it out from the library, but will probably have to wait at least until next weekend.
I am currently reading (and loving) Delirium. I really don't want to be doing my homework because of it. Alas, I must.
Okay, real quick. I need help! Does anyone know the name of a book where a boy saves up money to buy two dogs and then he takes them hunting and they when a competion and they die in the end? Does anybody know that book?

One 7 hour flight, one 12 hour.
I would probably go a little thicker. Because I read HEAPS on the plane. About 500 pages, not to mention at the air port waiting...
And you only want to have one, thick book. Not heaps. That way its convenient.
I would probably go a bit thicker still...
I added you as a friend so I can check out your too-read list for books I would recommend. Is that okay?
(Dont worry, Ill delete you later)
