I loved the Darkyn Series. All the character travel over through to the other books so they don't just disappear. The Kydred Series I couldn't get into at all

I just got it yesterday though because we're in a long-distance relationship, and he flew out to surprise me (and proposed!) and gave me me anniversary gifts this month instead of last.

message 427: by Mariya (new)

Mariya (cr6zym0nkeyiz) i knoe how much that sucks. that happened wit me for the night huntress series so i just bought it hoping it would be as good as everyone said it was and it was! got the first 2 kate daniels at the library and loved them. just bought the last 2 books hoping to read them soon.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 405 comments Oh you should definately read Magic Strikes soon Mariya, IMO it is the best book of the series so far, although alot of people think Magic Bleeds is, I stick by Magic Strikes!

Have you read Eternal Kiss of Darkness Mariya? I am reading it now, and OMG it is really good, much better then FDoC

message 429: by Mariya (new)

Mariya (cr6zym0nkeyiz) i started EKOD when it came out about 100 pages into but then i got into this other book and into another and so on and so on. hopefully ill get back to it next month or the month after. its just soo many releases r comming out for some of my favorite books and then im doing all these challanges. wow. haha. but i agree that it is much better than FKOD. i like it a lot better, but still nothing tops cat and bones but at least EKOD was better than FDOC.

i keep saying im gonna read magic strikes next but it never gets done...but i hope next week i will. im reading kiss of the highlander by KKM right now and hope to finish up clockwork angel by cassandra clare this week too...haha and i had another one but ill hold it off....reading too many books at once.

im exited for more curran though. curran and kate cracks me up sometimes. so the famous last 2 books....mmmm...i wonder which one will be my favorite.....

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 405 comments KMM is good, I have read a few of her Highlander books amd those are some hot Highlanders : ) I am waiting until the last book is out to read her other series, that way I can devour it all at once!

You should definately get stuck into Magic Strikes soon but I know what you mean, there are always so many good books waiting to be read!

message 431: by Mariya (new)

Mariya (cr6zym0nkeyiz) haha. i knoe. i wanna read them all at once. ill definitely be reading magic strikes next. dont have any other books from the library to stop me now after i finish kiss of the highlander.

im excited to start kiss of the highlander, i put off KKM highlander series, so im very interested to see if ill like it. im liking it so far though. i really like gwen.

OMG, did you win the lottery or something. That order would wipe out 4 months of my book budget.

Hehe I wish, my parents sold their house and are moving into a rental appartement and they gave me some money!

Sabrina Fair wrote: "That's awesome! Good for you. Sometimes you need to REALLY spoil yourself and I know nothing makes me happier than getting a huge order of books in."

I know, buying books is my biggest addiction really haha and I dont often get the chance to buy that many at once!

message 436: by Bianca (new)

Bianca | 117 comments Well since Im in the Netherlands its usually a week, week and a half but they have to cross an ocean so thats still not that long. Bookdepository is a lot cheaper than any store here because they have no shipping fees so I dont mind waiting a bit longer to get my books ^^ (also means I can get more *grin*)

Regina, Magic Bites and Bloodfever - these are my MUST read soon series! I'm going to start Darkfever later in the week and can not wait, guess I'm sure I'll like it when I've got the second already :)

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 405 comments They are some great books Jen, I am particually jealous of the Pleasure Unbound one as I have wanted to read that series for ages!

And Magic Bites is amazing, such a great series, get reading lol

message 443: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Pleasure Unbound is soooo HOT! And there is no angsty waiting around for the hotness to happen. :) Reading #1 in the Demonica series revived my interest in PNR. :)

I hope you do Jen! I can't wait for you to join the ranks of all of us drooling over Barrons and wondering what the hell he is. :) Suzanne -- you have to join that group soon too!

Now your just teasing me!!

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 405 comments I will do, I am waiting for the last one to come out and then I am going to get them all, no horrible cliffhangers for me! I already have enough of those!

I am going to Pleasure Unbound next month though, I have so may good things and I haven't read much PNR lately

message 448: by Mariya (new)

Mariya (cr6zym0nkeyiz) hahaha. everyone talks about barrons and you'll see why soon, jen.

message 449: by Regina (new)

Regina (reginar) Suzanne the cliffhanger in the Fever series is sort of fun at this point -- I dont' know if I would enjoy/anticipate Shadowfever as much without it. I guess it is easy to say that now that I have waited 9+ months (other people read the last book when it was released in August 09!!!), and there are less than 4 months to go.

message 450: by Mariya (new)

Mariya (cr6zym0nkeyiz) less than 4 months to go....i wish it came out tomorrow. 8)
