That sounds familiar lol, you must have gone back to work with bags full of books! I haven't really heard much about them, so I never buy them, I always pick them up and contemplate buying them, but I never do! Last time I ended up buying instead, which I am quite glad I did!

I recently finished reading The Forest of Hands and Teeth and found it quite strange as well. I liked to idea of the story... just not the main character.

I know what you mean, I find her a little annoying, and over dramatic and a tad selfish. But I also want to keep reading as I want to know what secrets are being kept! Is this part of a series do you know?

Yes it is. The second one is out in hardcover right now with a thrid scheduled to come out next year I think.

I've heard good things about it, and have been wanting to read it for a while now. I'm SO glad I happened to stumble upon it at my library today. I wasn't even going to go in, but I had some time to kill and I found it just sitting there on the shelf waiting to be checked out.

I'm so excited!! Every now and then I'll have a look on the online catalogue of my local lobrary to see if by any chance they have the book I want (you may have read in other posts I don't have much joy!!).

Guess what! My library has and I've now got my paws on !!!!!!!!!

Seems they now have a selection of UF/PNR titles, still very limited but 100 times better than it was! There is a very small section next to the SciFi now called Dark Fantasy!! I nearly did a happy dance in the middle of the library!!!

Suzanne Happy Birthday!! I like the British cover for The Passage. I am anxious to see how you like it. I have not posted my review yet, but I gave it 3.5 stars -- I would give it 4 to 4.5 for the first half, but 2.5-3 for the last half. But I think I am in the minority.
