Thank Mariya, I don't usually read YA, but, I had heard good things and it has such a lovely cover : )
I got Street Magic from the library and it is really good I am only about 34 pages into it so far, but I almost missed my bus stop reading it!
I was good today and only bought 3: Red by Jordan Summers
Tempest Rising by Nicole Peeler
Working for the Devil by Lilith Saintcrow

Read Hunted by the Others for a group read and was pleasantly surprised. Reading Unholy Ghosts at the moment and it's different but holding my interest.
I ordered a ton of books off of paperback swap, and so far I've received
.I still have another 8 coming.

I am not a big fan of YA -- very few YA I got into -- Twilight, the Hunger Games. I wouldn't consdier the Percy Jackson series and Harry Potter series YA -- more juvenile and I liked those. But otherwise I prefer adult books. I recently Xed Wicked Lovely off my TR list. I was just notified that The Pasage by Cronin (the add book link isn't working) is available -- I am surprised b/c so many people are waiting for it. Excited to start that one!
Same here, I find it hard to get into YA, the only ones I have read and really enjoyed are His Dark Materials by Phillips Pullman. I got Wicked Lovely as I kept hearing good things...but I just couldn't get into the story or writing. What's The Pasage?
i started wit YA and now since i started adult books i cant get back into YA. hopefully after i read all the adult books in my TBR shelf maybe i can get back into them.the last YA book i read when the summoning by kelly armstrong and i just could not get into it.
Oh yes -- I liked Pullman's series as well. But I really think it was more than YA. The Passage is a hot new release and highly talked about -- reviewed by the NYT and even Stephen King was talking about it. http://www.amazon.com/Passage-Justin-...
Post-apocalypical but involves vamps. ...

Is it good Ames? I still have Finger Lickin' Fifteen to read, borrowing from a friend tomorrow!

Yes, I loved it but I'm not giving any details away otherwise I'll ruin it for you. I will say that there are hints that the series could be ending soon.

Jen ~ "Dhexterity" wrote: "Ending??? Did you say ending???? Ames no!"I know but there are like 20+ books in this series including the in-between ones, and there's a new Diesel (from the in-between books) series starting with Wicked Appetite so it's not all bad.
I just looked at The Passage it looks really good, kind of a mix between "I Am Legend" and Resident Evil! I am goign to have to pick it up I think, it sounds really interesting.Yeah, Phillip Pullmans books His Dark Materials, was more then just YA below the surface. I also enjoy his Sally Lockhart books aswell, and read them quite alot.

I am halfway in and not loving it. I hope she ends it. She makes some strong hints as to how she will though. I am not liking the hints. :(
Suzanne the Passage does look good!!

Regina, I think the first half is a bit dry but it gets better. I am looking forward to a conclusion to the series though, I want Steph to choose who she's going to be with finally and do grown up things like get married or have children.
I am just reading
, which I got from the library, and wow this book is so good. I recommend that everyone shoudl read it!
I've never seen that cover. I really enjoyed the first 2 books in this series and I can't wait for Mockinjay.
Suzanne wrote: "I am just reading

As soon as I finished it I gave it to my mother and demanded she read it -she loved it. I also pushed it on my sister and her boyfriend, they haven't read it yet but I'll be checking up on them soon, lol!
That was the cover the library had, I prefer the black cover with the gold brooch, so when I buy it (which I definately definately am!) I am going to get that edition! That is a good idea Amy, when I have read it, I am going to make sure all my friends and family read it, spread the goodness!
I tried to press The Hunger Games on my mom too knowing she'll like it but she hasn't read it yetI got
as a digital audio book from my library and I received
from PBS. I really gotta finish some of the books I received.

Hunger Games is such an awesome book Bianca, when I first read it, I couldn't put it down. I missed a lot of sleeping hours just to read it :)
It is awesome, I went to town to try and find the next one but it wasn't there! : (I spent the whole day reading it, it was glued to my hand!
I just recently bought The Darkest Kiss (Lord of The Underworld #2) and will be ordering Lover Eternal (BDB #2) and The Darkest Pleasure (Lord of The Underworld #3) very soon. ALL good books! :D
Bianca, the Hunger Games and it's sequel Catching Fire were excellent, I can't wait for the final book in the trilogy. Katherine, I'm really enjoying the Lord of the Underworld series. It's part of my Summer Reading list.
@ Jen; I've read Red headed Stepchild it was really good, Sabina is such a hard ass!!! I couldn't help myself so I bought it and the next one!!!I'm currently read Fantasy Lover (OMG totally amazing, I should have listened to all of you guys particularly my best friend to read this book), but before that I was reading The Devil Inside
which was interesting and 'You don't know Jack'
which is a really good non paranormal romance book to read!
