Just got Beyond the Highland Mist! Not that I have the time to start it yet (although we'll see how long it takes before that changes), but staring at it, I just had to buy it!

I've just picked up Dead Witch Walking from my local library, and I have Guilty Pleasures and Wicked Lovely reserved. Those last two are apparently in transit and should be coming in to my local branch at some point this week - hopefully before the Christmas closures!
The Night Huntress series and Fever series is waiting at the post office for me to wade through the snow and get tomorrow. Today i bought

Those are two of my very favorite series!! Enjoy!!
Thanks Amy. I'm a fan of Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter and I've heard the Psy-Changeling are amazing. As for Chloe Neill's Chicagoland Vampires series, I've heard great things from my friends here on goodreads. Thanks for all the recommendations.
Today I preordered
from iBookstore for my Ipod ,ordered the dead tree book of
on Amazon and received ARC's for
and
. January will be a busy reading month for me!
I just got a kindle for christmas and have so far spent about £120 on books (christmas money and amazon vouchers from my nectar points!). I got a ton of the freebie classics as well as (there's a ton here so be warned!):
Some of these were free, some were cheap (£1 or less), but only a few are re-reads. As I want to buy the rest of the series for a few of them on my Kindle I added the early ones as well.
Deciding which to read next is going to be a problem though LMAO
ooh Vannessa I am so jealous! I have either read or want to read 99% of those. Plus I really want a kindle and santa didn't bring me one *cries quietly*Happy Reading!
Lol @ Vanessa/Lisa, I just had a Kindle for Christmas too and I can not stop buying books. Its so much easier as they download within seconds, isn't it? I've just ordered Witches at war series - Nightshade, Wicked Lovely Series, Beautiful Creatures, My soul to take, there's so many more too!

Until I put all those books on here I didn't realise how many I'd already downloaded. There's no way I would have bought THAT many paperbacks in one go! I'm going to have to be strict with myself each month so I don't go too crazy with it all LOL
Most recently I checked out the hard cover volumes of the the Anita Blake The Laughing Corpse graphic novel.Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter: The Laughing Corpse, Volume 1: Animator, Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter: The Laughing Corpse, Volume 2: Necromancer, and Executioner.
Just bought these in waterstones with my vouchers from xmas
Also bought
without realising its the 2nd one so ordered the 1st off Amazon. My brother bought me some books but they are for my birthday so have to wait a week
Books just arrived they are so pretty :D
(some of the others are on there way there was a delay:( also got
Again some were delayed so i haven't received them in order haha
Nice haul, Nat! I bought
earlier this year but have yet to read it. It might be because a friend of mine told me there was incest between brothers in it. It's not my bag.

In fact I only know of one other person, someone at work who I convinced to get one as I know she's a big reader but she likes Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson more. I do like those so will probably borrow them from her at some point, but as for other UF books I'm friendless LOL

April and Donna, I think it would be great if we could share, but I haven't got a clue how to do it!! Do either of you know?
Hi Vanessa, I found out online last night, its only available to people currently in the US (I'm in the UK)You do it through the Amazon website and you can loan only certain books (as its down to the publishers) to one person for 14 days. Where are you living?
I'm going to have to wait until it hits the UK but there is no date set so far. :(

I'm in the UK as well, in Peterborough. Where abouts are you? It'a shame but I bet it won't be long before it comes out over here as well. Will keep my eye out for any updates about the loaning service.

And I am also in the UK :0) (Manchester)
@Lisa -I've just read Green Eyed Demon from NetGalley! It was very good but quite smutty despite it not being erotica or PNR. Giguhl was mostly responsible of course!
gigi wrote: "WOOO piles of Uk'ers Donna I Live in Wolverhampton. LOL. WE should have a coffee morning. ROFL."Wow, Wolverhampton? You're not far from me then. Lol.
Most people I speak to from here are from the US, so good to meet some Uk'ers. Thanks for the friend request.
Look forward to discussing some books with you! :)
Question for anyone on in the UK! If you buy books from say Amazon, what do you do with them after? I used to try and sell mine back on the internet but the last few weeks its a been a little slow. Anyone got any tips what I can do with my old books? I've tried to give them to charity shops but most don't take them any more as they have so many and I think its a shame just to throw them away! :)
