Actually if you look for "Prophet", there are a scary number of different ones.

Cute quote left here, but (a) somewhat misspelled and (b) probably shouldn't be there anyway?

Okay, I did some research. The publisher is Books LLC and writes on http://booksllc.net under their FAQs:
The book doesn't list an author. Who wrote it?
If our description of the book lists the source as Wikipedia, the book may have hundreds on contributors. Therefore, instead of listing each individual contributor, we include a URL to the online edition at the end of each chapter; there you can click the history tab to see a list of that chapter's contributors.
http://www.amazon.com adds to the problem by having an author called "Fonte: Wikipedia" with 28'000 books!!
So this means in a sense that Wikipedia really is the author. But Fonte still bothers me and surely is wrong. What do you propose to do? List Various as author or something like "Books LLC, Wiki Series", or the biggest 3 contributers, or ...?
I am looking forward to seeing how really seasoned librarians handle a problem like this!
Thanks in advance!

I contributed a story to Greek Myths Revisited (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...). Here is the description from the book's Amazon page (http://www.amazon.com/Greek-Myths-Rev... ... Greek Myths Revisited brings you nineteen fresh stories from nineteen talented authors putting their words to work. Lose yourself in these old worlds given new life. Stories written by: Reggie Lutz, Amber Norris, Jeff Chapman, Samuel Gibb, Stephanie Downey, Christopher S. Ledbetter, O.J. Cade, Anne Johnson, Jinny Webber, Cynthia D. Witherspoon, Tory Brannigan, Scotti Matics, Livia Finucci, D.C. White, Anna L. Stephens, Carl Barker, Richard Jay Goldstein, Bennie Newsome, and Leigh Dragoon.
Please add it to my Author page. Thanks.

Thank you for your quick reply and simple solution!

I've been working on it most of the day, today, too...I can't imagine how many there were before you started!
I need some help because there is an abundance of variants of Thomas Cook Publishing: Thomas Cook Publishing Thomas Cook Publishing Staff Thomas Cook Group Thomas Cook Thomas Cook Publishing Thomas Cook Thomas Cook And Son Thomas Cook Timetables Team Thomas Cook Touring Handbooks Thomas Cook Ltd (1874. Thomas Cook and son) Thomas Cook Ltd Thomas Cook Timetables Team Staff Thomas Cook Ltd. Thomas Cook And Son
They publish travel guides and I do wonder if they should be left (in some form, maybe as Thomas Cook Publishing) as one author, but as most of the books have actual writers stated in Worldcat, I think they should be placed first.

So I'll leave Thomas Cook Publishing as the last author of the list. Then we have at least one place to look for all these travel guides.

This is the same sort of thing I'd like to see happen with all those series books from Time-Life Books - it would make it much simpler to locate them (assuming they are not gathered into a series - something I think ought to be done with them since that is the way they are marketed and produced). If Time-Life series volumes aren't to be treated as a GR series, then using "Time-Life Books" as the last author might make other volumes in a series easier to locate...

Need a super though to fix the capitalizing of Michele Promaulayko:

Oddly enough, this appears to be correct.

Anyone want to fool with it? My brain is too addled for the night.

This is an Album so I have changed the author to NOT A BOOK
This is an Album so I have changed the author to NOT A BOOK

This is not an album, Hephaestus Books publishes compilations of Wikipedia articles in book form. It might be a good idea for you, since you're a new librarian, to check the profile of the person posting before making changes. Since Beth is a super-librarian and one of the top librarians, it's safe to assume it's not an easy of a fix as it might seem.
I've reverted the author back and am working on separating out the combine.

Charlie Adlard and Cliff Rathburn only provided the illustrations.
