Julianna (authorjuliannad) | 671 comments I'm currently re-reading, Prince Charming by Julie Garwood. I first read this one when I was pregnant with my son 16 years ago (it's partly where I got his name:-)). I had forgotten how good it is. I'm starting to remember bits and pieces as I go along, but it's been so long since the first time, it's practically like new to me.

Currently reading (and almost done with) A Rogue of My Own (Reid Family #3) by Johanna Lindsey, with Let Love Find You (Reid #4) up next. Probably back to some mysteries after that.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 1922 comments Okay, so I'm reading Never Seduce a Scot (The Montgomerys and Armstrongs, #1) by Maya Banks and I gotta tell you... it's so... UNhighlander! I'm loving the story so far, but there's little, and I do mean, LITTLE, brogue. No mention of kilts or plaids or colors.

Still, I'm enjoying the story.

Melissa I am currently reading Wicked Business (Lizzy & Diesel, #2) by Janet Evanovich Her books always crack me up. This is a Lizzy & Diesel novel instead of a Stephanie Plum.

I've been thinking about starting that series, Melissa. The first got mixed reviews from my GRs friends, but those that went on in the series really loved the second one.

message 1048: by namericanwordcat (new)

namericanwordcat | 591 comments Shelter Mountain (Virgin River, #2) by Robyn Carr killed me with the very sadness of several of the events. It is all very real and very good but not what I need right now. Great writing and I loved Preacher but I need a bit less women's fiction at the moment and this sets on that line. Nice HEA though and I know we will get more in future books but I think I am done with this series for a bit.

message 1049: by Pamela(AllHoney), Fairy Godmother (new)

Yes, it is sad. I usually stay away from those. However, that one I just loved and have read it several times. I hate it when someone recommends an angsty book and I'm not "there." I am SUCH a moody reader! LOL! This shows there is always an exception, though it is unique to the reader.
