Yeah most probably. I however have evil clowns stashed away....*prepares to unleash evil clowns on other Jace admirers*
Ooo City of Glass is the greatest! Chapter 17!!!!! That chapter is the BEST chapter ever!! The end of the book is really good too.
I understand Katie I started to re-read City of Ashes and my fav so far City of Bones but heck I dont have time and I remember the plot as i go along.
Such a great frickin' chapterYou find out that Jace is (view spoiler)
I was like whoa!! I should have seen it coming, but I didn't!
Just started up City of Ashes, it's so good. I can't believe I've been putting off reading it for years. It's so said about Jace at the beginning (view spoiler).
Oh I know! Glad you're enjoying them though! The books get better and City of Glass is the best of the three so far!!
There's an amazing scene in City of Ashes with the Seelie Court. Its totally mind blowing and makes you want Jace that little bit more...*sigh*
Tee-hee. If I could want him any more then I already do, they might have to lock me up in the looney-bin. ^_-
Its alright Stacia, lust away lol. We'd all like to do things to him that we'd probably get arrested for....*cough*
Im counting down the days till the new release. Cassandra Clare is so awesome to think of this Mortal Instruments world. I have a few theories about the new bad guy but im sure we all guessed that such and such isnt really gone and that he is going to try to get back at such and such because he is jelly of such and such and wants revenge for the death of blah blah blahhh. :)
yea I didnt know if i was the only one who did that. I love reading fantasy and ya and most of the time the main character doesnt look like me so i visualize myself as the main character but as the author describes them not as i am.Im 20 turning 21 in June but I may visualize me as the main character who is 16 blue eyes blonde hair or red hair like clary lol.
Yep a good book always transports you into it. Sometimes when I dream about the book I look like the main character, unless they're males. The best thing is when you can feel like your that old, even if it's not any where close to your age.
I always age the character to my age when I read. I always end up playing the "Who should play..." in the beginning chapters when characters are first being described and I always come to the sad conclusion that all of the age appropriate actors are r.e.a.l.l.y young and then I start to feel skeevy. I don't remember what I was reading but the only age appropriate actors I could think of for the super hot male love interest were the Big Time Rush boys from Nickelodeon or Sterling Knight from the Disney channel. I had to put the book down and walk away until I could find less young people!
Just finished City of Ashes, freaking awesome. It tore at my heart, but I'm starting to think that (view spoiler). Nobody tell me because I want to find out in book 3.Right now I don't feel so bad for waiting so long to continue on with the series, because now I can read them all and then the fourth book should be on my doorstep!!
Stacia: I'm currently reading City of Glass, and I have to say I think I can see where it's going. Who Clary's (view spoiler), so things are definitely easier to predict then the first two books. Who knows maybe she'll throw a curve ball and make me feel less superiour about predicting her plots. On a side note my eyes are completely burned out from reading the books nonstop and I may have to stop for the sake of my heath.
However, I was stunned when (view spoiler)
Thanks for the offer! ^_- I already bought it so I'm good, I wasn't going to read Clockwork Angel until after book 4, but maybe I will now.
Shera (Book Whispers) wrote: "More yummy characters?? Maybe I will read it before the 4th book."Yessss Will would prob kick Jaces booty. Although in the Mortal instruments there is no real love triangle there is one in the infernal devices series. Soo wooot woot. i say read it.
I would if you have time. It's not necessary, but there's two characters named Tessa and Camille and it's possible that either or both will be showing up in the MI series in future books. At the end of CoG, Magnus is talking to a woman in white who has been confirmed to be Tessa. He also took a female lover in CA named Camille (was shocked to find out Magnus is bi, not gay), and it's rumored she'll be popping up at some point...not sure if it will be in CoFA or later, but she'll be around it looks like. Will is also a relative of Jace's but we don't know how just yet...he could be parental (great-great grandfather) or related as a distant cousin or uncle.

i agree that Clockwork should be read before reading COFA although cassandra has said their will be no spoilers in either series but they all connect so their may be parts or characters you dont understand and although they are two different series they are meant to be read in publishing order.
Will read it before then. I'm sure Borders will be a bit slow on mailing it to me so I should have enough time to squeeze in the ARC and then CWA
OMG. Just finished Chap 17 in City of Glass. All I can say is, "I KNEW it!!!. I guessed everything right except who (view spoiler) Must. Read. Ahead

Greatest chapter EVER!!
Heather wrote: "Maybe I should re-read...."I'm just going to re-read the last few chapters of CoG before I start CoFA. Maybe I'll do a full series and Clockwork Angel read before Clockwork Prince comes out in the fall.
They didn't mention who the ladies name was when he was talking to her at the end of CoG.Oh, I finished it!! REally good! ^_-
