I've just read the first book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J. R. Ward, and I've just read the first in the "Fever" series by Karen Marie Moning.
I like the vampires better than Jericho so far, but we'll see what happens as the books develop.

I actually just read your review of Extreme Exposure, I definitely plan to read the series soon. As far as I can tell the novella didn't spoil anything and the only character to make an appearance from book one is Sophie.

No, the novella didn't spoil a thing, and even Marc & Julian Make a Beer Run at the end doesn't spoil. Please let us know how you like the I-Team. I am currently working my way through the Nighthuntress books by Jeaniene Frost so I can read Once Burned. I am dying to read this book.
I am enjoying all the others though so definitely not a waste of time. Love Cat and Bones. I am just starting , looking forward to seeing if Mencheres is really as stiff and pompous as he seems in the other books.

I'm re-reading Angela Knight's Mageverse series in preparation for the release of the final book August 7. I like that the heroes, though warriors, are not overly alpha. They're more like regular guys, in spite of their paranormal sides. Right now I'm on book 4:
