Carolyn F. I'm reading The Restorer (Graveyard Queen #1) by Amanda Stevens , it's good so far.

I really liked that one, mostly I liked the southern influence of the book. The next one comes out soon and there is a prequel for it as well.

message 4357: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. There's a prequel? Is it a regular book or part of an anthology?

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments Carolyn F. wrote: "There's a prequel? Is it a regular book or part of an anthology?"

It was a free e-book at one time, not sure if it still is, The Abandoned (Graveyard Queen #0.5) by Amanda Stevens .

message 4359: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. I have that one! I'll pull it up at home. Thanks Darcy.

Rachel the Book Harlot | 217 comments I finished Private Demon (Darkyn, #2) by Lynn Viehl and I realy liked it! Darcy, you big tease! lol (view spoiler) Next up is Twilight Fall (Darkyn, #6) by Lynn Viehl and Tapestry by Karen Ranney

message 4362: by Cecilia (new)

Cecilia (cecilia250) I have a big pile o'TBR, many of which are from the library, so there's a deadline. What I'm officially reading is A Duke's Temptation (The Bridal Pleasures, #1) by Jillian Hunter , which so far is fine, and all, but what I'm unofficially reading is a book I've read before, which is Hunting Ground (Alpha & Omega, #2) by Patricia Briggs , because, you know, the next book is coming out soon, and whatever. I'd just really rather be reading books I can't have. That's really pitiful.

Did you read the part where he is rescued and he is looking all around in panic screaming? I was balling at that point. Can you imagine being so connected to someone that you can share a mind?

Oh, I'm sure that's probably where Harrison will go with it, but I've been known to bet on the dark horse in most love triangles, lol.

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 152 comments I was feeling in the mood for a silly vampire romance. So far I am not disappointed with Slade (Shadow Wranglers, #4) by Sarah McCarty .

That series is hit or miss for me, but I did like that one. I want to know more about the shifters.

LL (llnumber1) | 12 comments Just finished Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1) by E.L. James and am just starting Fifty Shades Darker (Fifty Shades, #2) by E.L. James . I was recommended this book by a few people and boy it did not disappoint!

I'm a sucker for a tortured hero and Christian definately fits the bill! Pretty steamy read but I thought E.L. James did a great job portraying that feeling you get when you are first falling in love. And Christian has such a vulnerability underneath it all that I loved. Looking forward to seeing what the next book has in store!

Finished it. I liked book 2 and 3 best. Slade seemed a bit rushed to me, it lacked something. The evil Sanctuary vamps were just noise in the background. I do not know but Derek is awfully present in the book to lay ground for a follow up.

Since they have run out of the vampire brothers, if she wants to keep the series going she will have to move on to the shifters.

I like Iris Johansen's older books. I got an ARC for her that sounds very interesting:

What Doesn't Kill You, so maybe I'll end up reading her newer suspense novels.

Let me know what you think of Pandora's Daughter, Arch.

PNR lover | 27 comments Eternal Hunger (Mark of the Vampire #1) by Laura Wright

I'm enjoying the characters so far and the story line, but my only compliant about this book would be all these new words that she has introduced for the vampires, don't get me wrong I like that in books like Christine Feehans dark series, but this is a first book and it seems crammed with them, and it is taking some of the joy away from reading it.

I'm still reading Ascension (The World of Ascension #1) by Caris Roane and some other books for review.
