For those who like The Texan's Wager and heroes like Carter, you need to read Ellen O'Connell's Eyes of Silver, Eyes of Gold Cord Bennett is definitely a dangerous hero, but his story is every bit as heartbreaking as Carter's. I. Am. LOVING. this book!

I just finished and Very dangerous heroes. Pretty racy for a historical romance! Reminded me a bit of the House of Rohan by Anne Stuart. Great reads, now I'm moving on to the third in the series So excited for this one. The hero is a really bad guy, which is great, because I love those reformed jerks!

Just finished . Fabulous read! I was so impressed. I do believe I'll snatch up anything this author has written. Her writing style is a bit different, but I needed different. Sometimes they all start to blur together, especially in romance. But there was no blur in this book!

Megan, these characters are under tremendous stress....each in their own situation and the way they both sacrifice for each other is so touching and emotional. There is one point where the hero is so frantic and she is his angel...I started to cry. Another section describes the emotion that each are feeling so well that I swear I am feeling it too. I am almost done and really enjoying this story.

Lady D, (view spoiler)[ I'm really loving Private Demon! I just read the Pride & Prejudice dream sequence and it was awesome. Loved the rabbits. lolol It's taking me a little while to get used to the various POV's but that's just because I've been reading so many romances that feature solely the main couple so I need to get my head in the right space. I would say this is more UF than PNR though. By the way, I love the mythology and I love the writing. I think Lynn Viehl has a brand new fan in me. :) I can't believe I'd never heard of this series before!

Have you read any of her other work?

Of course she gets her HEA, everyone does in books, but with who is the fun part. :)

Keep reading the series. After a while she split it off, then in the last books she brought both parts together. I think it will make things interesting going forward.

OMG!! Just finished Lothaire. So glad I didn't let Kressley Cole's last 2 books convince me not to read it. She is totally redeemed in my mind from the list of authors who fizzle out a few books into a series. And can I just add, Nix, Nix, Nix.....what can I say but Nucking futs Nix is a well deserved nickname.
