UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Dani, Darkest Passion... who is it by and is it part of a series?

message 3402: by Tammy (new)

Tammy Walton Grant (tamgrant) Well, Lord of Fire was kind of a bust. Didn't click with me for some reason, even though the H/h, the story and "torturedness" are usually right up my alley.

On to Wicked Becomes You

And Dani, I second Dhes' question!

message 3403: by Bianca (new)

Bianca | 84 comments I think she is referring to The Darkest Passion (Lords of the Underworld, #5) by Gena Showalter and The Darkest Lie (Lords of the Underworld, #6) by Gena Showalter

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Thanks, Bianca!

YAY! Glad you are liking it! Z's book is amazing, It's had for me to choose between Z and Rhage!lol, I also loved Johns book, and I love that you get to hear Johns story throughout most of the series! Can't wait to see what you think of the rest of the series:D

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Tammy - Lord of Ice was better than Lord of Fire (which was the book I liked least in the Knight Miscellany series, although I enjoyed it!)... Keep on going!:-D

Finished Breaking Point (I-Team, #5) by Pamela Clare and loved it! 5*

Read If I Had You (De Piaget, #2) by Lynn Kurland last night, really liked it - 4* (because Robin gave me whiplash with his moods, lol)

message 3411: by Tammy (new)

Tammy Walton Grant (tamgrant) Thanks Melanie!

message 3412: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Finished Weddings Can Be Murder by Christie Craig and Sarah's Child by Linda Howard .. 4.5* for the first, which was a reread, and 4* for the second: I loved the angst, but Rome, although his issues had me tearing up, was an asshat, lol!

Rome was horrible, but I still love that book!

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Oh, he was awful! Lol it's crazy how I can love a book with such a b****rd of a hero!! Same with Diana Palmer's books (although I'm not crazy about her writing style (always seems like the plot should be happening in the 40s or 50s!

Read The Wedding in White (eHarlequin Exclusive) by Diana Palmer An Unforgettable Lady (An Unforgettable Lady #1) by Jessica Bird Something About You by Julie James Artemis Fowl (Artemis Fowl, #1) by Eoin Colfer yesterday, Reluctant Father (Silhouette Desire, #469) by Diana Palmer earlier today, and going to start Ethan (Long, Tall Texans, #5; Silhouette Romance, #694) by Diana Palmer .. On a bit of a DP binge, lol..

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I'm reading Annie's Song by Catherine Anderson and LOVING Alex!

message 3416: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Dhes:-) You like it then? Isn't it great???

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Melanie wrote: "Dhes:-) You like it then? Isn't it great???"

It's WONDERUL, but painful, too!!! I'm not far in, she's just gotten to Alex's spread... heck, she's not even out of the carriage yet... but it's an amazing story.

message 3418: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) Just finished Dark Protector by Alexis Morgan. Pretty good plot and characters. Still undecided about the world that it is set in.

message 3419: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments I am reading Sweet Possession by Maya Banks , I love Conner getting thrown.

message 3420: by La La (new)

La La | 132 comments So far I finished The Pursuit of Pleasure by Elizabeth Essex , which I really didn't care for. I found the heroine annoying. Darker Than Night by Kim Lenox , which started out slow but picked up towards the middle. I find the ending of the series kind of anti-climatic. Finally, I read American Vampire by Jennifer Armintrout , which was a really fun read. I've never read anything by this author before. Now I'm back to Tainted (The Blood Lily Chronicles, #1) by Julie Kenner . I decided to delete and add some books to my Nook so this should make for some interesting reading.

message 3421: by Megan (new)

Megan | 186 comments currently reading Go Fetch! (Magnus Pack, #2) by Shelly Laurenston (I'm addicted to this series!) and Dead Reckoning (Sookie Stackhouse, #11) by Charlaine Harris , and listening to Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3) by Suzanne Collins on audio book at work. Still trying to get through Menage a Magick (Wizard Twins, #1) by Lora Leigh .

message 3422: by Xee (new)

Xee (xeey) | 39 comments So in an effort not to overdose and thus not fully enjoy a series, i'v decided to mix the stuff up...
Gonna start Naked in Death (In Death #1) by J.D. Robb ...And also have Lover Enshrined (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #6) by J.R. Ward halfway done...

message 3423: by Bianca (new)

Bianca | 84 comments Finished When You Dare (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #1) by Lori Foster really enjoyed it

Now reading The Guardian by Margaret Mallory

La La | 132 comments Just finished Tainted (The Blood Lily Chronicles, #1) by Julie Kenner , which was pretty good, despite the fact that I don't like first person POV. Now I'm reading Torn (The Blood Lily Chronicles, #2) by Julie Kenner .

message 3429: by Melanie (new)

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Read Heart of Fire by Linda Howard yesterday, which was a fun read, although I found the last quarter a little disappointing compared to LH's other books, so 4*..

Now hesitating between Thunder and Roses (Fallen Angels, #1) by Mary Jo Putney for the SRC challenge (I only have 5 more books to read, lol), Texas Destiny (Texas Trilogy, #1) by Lorraine Heath because of all the hype it's been getting, or When You Dare (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #1) by Lori Foster .. Choices, choices!

V is by far my favorite book and brother. Although Z's book was great. I hated the ending to V's though. I kept hoping it would change and all be a fluke.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Melanie, I'm reading When You Dare (Men Who Walk the Edge of Honor, #1) by Lori Foster and enjoying it, but Texas Destiny (Texas Trilogy, #1) by Lorraine Heath is definitely my favorite of the 2.

Melanie (melaina) | 411 comments Finished rereading Talk Me Down (Tumble Creek, #1) by Victoria Dahl and what a great book!!

I'm now a third of the way through Texas Destiny (Texas Trilogy, #1) by Lorraine Heath , and I am adoring it!!! Houston is so tortured!!

I've been putting off reading it for a bit, since I'm not a big fan of the "split between brothers" theme, but OMG I'm loving it!! Thank God I have the next two on my shelves!!

That is so true....Before I started getting on GR's all the time, I used to have a hard time finding things to read, and now my TBR list has turned into a large mountain of potential reading material!lol But that is a problem I can live with!:D

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Shellbelle wrote: "But that is a problem I can live with!:D "

I agree!!!!! And for me the problem now is that people won't leave me alone so I can read day and night!
