I didn't care for Noah's story, just like I didn't care for my Historical baby - Cole Clayborne's story.

message 1953: by Serena (new)

Serena | 31 comments I'm finishing Reunion in Death (In Death, #14) by J.D. Robb and starting Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead as soon as I can get my hands on a copy tomorrow. LOVE Nora's In death series :-).

Wan (wanwaddell) | 252 comments Starting The Tea Rose (The Tea Rose, #1) by Jennifer Donnelly and The Winter Rose (The Tea Rose, #2) by Jennifer Donnelly

@serena - love your avatar BTW.

Courtney (mrs_hf) | 164 comments Finished Somewhere I'll Find You (Capital Theatre, #1) by Lisa Kleypas . Was kind of disappointed as I normally LOVE Lisa Kleypas. Sort of whiny heroine and the hero had to make all of the compromises. Not fair.

Starting Outlander (Outlander, #1) by Diana Gabaldon and hoping it's better! :D

Courtney, I wasn't too fond of Somewhere I'll Find You either, but my problem was with the hero. I thought he was a jerk. But I agree that I hate when one of the couple does all the giving and the other does all the taking.

I will write a review about Lover's Bite on my new blog. It will be the first review on my new blog.

I've loved all of Garwood's romantic suspense (and it goes without saying her historicals too) except for Mercy (Buchanan, #2) by Julie Garwood (I thought it was okay).

Happy reading!!!

Noah was sexy in Mercy and of course, messy like he always is. That's my sexy bad boy.

In Black Ice, I did NOT like Bastion at all, now I am {{{swooning}}} for him!! ~sigh~

Denise, isn't it funny how Anne Stuart can play with your emotions that way?

Hmmm yeah! Play away, hope the rest of the series is like that :)

I am going to reread this series this winter. I reread Black Ice a couple of months ago. It was even better the second time around.

Arch, why don't you check out her other contemporaries? She has a bunch of romantic suspense books.

I have a book she did with Harlequin years ago. I think it's a Harlequin book.

I love her writing style. I hope all her books are in that writing style.

Anne Stuart is pretty consistent in her writing. I think it's a good thing, but maybe some people won't feel that way.

I will speak for myself. She brought me into her writing. She made me see what was going on. I like when a writer does that.

I'll be reading this one in the coming week. I'm very excited!

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments I think this one will be right up your alley.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I haven't read her first series yet, but I think they're unrelated enough so it's not confusing, right? Except I need to read the prequel to Edge.

message 1976: by Othena (new)

Othena I'm going to start The Vampire and the Virgin (Love at Stake, #8) by Kerrelyn Sparks or Moving Target by Cheyenne McCray tomorrow depending on my mood.

I didn't realize there was a prequel, I will have to search it out. You will be fine not having read her other series. It is a slight spin off, they mention one of they guys and say they want to do what he does with Bullet Catchers. But you can still get what is going on without it.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish The pre is on her website. It's a free read.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments Thanks for the info, I will be checking it out.

message 1980: by Tracy T. (new)

Tracy T. I'm reading Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead Dark Desires After Dusk (Immortals After Dark, #6) by Kresley Cole Watchers in the Night (The Guardians of the Night, #1) by Jenna Black Grave Secrets (Temperance Brennan, #5) by Kathy Reichs . The last 3 are kind of on the back burner until I finish Last Sacrifice (Vampire Academy, #6) by Richelle Mead .

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) | 474 comments I am reading The Mane Attraction (Pride, #3) by Shelly Laurenston at the moment, I love Shelly Laurenston!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Lady D., I'm liking Edge of Sight so far. Talk about an edgy hero!

He does have issues, that is for sure!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish Yeah, I read the prequel last night, and that Zach is so far from the Zach we're seeing now... but I'm not very far in at all. Just a few chapters.

message 1986: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments I didn't read the prequel, will do so later today. I did make it until only 100 pages left. He is changing a little bit, but still has a long way to go.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish The prequel made him seem kinda a jerk, but a jerk because he was surprised by the way his emotions were going.

Ooh. I love edgy heroes!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish And wounded, Danielle... he's physically and emotionally wounded. The prequel might put you off a bit, because he's all about the sex and nothing more, but it really does show you the emotions from both POVs.

message 1990: by Bianca (new)

Bianca | 84 comments I read the prequel "Taken To The Edge" and I noticed she skips over the loves scenes... Is the book like that too?

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I haven't read any yet, so I don't know.

message 1992: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments I just finished the book, and while there is sex in there it is sort of glossed over, some details, but it doesn't go and on and on for pages.

It was a really good overall. I am excited to read the others in this series!!

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it, Darcy!

message 1994: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments I finished it with minutes to spare at my lunch break. If I would have had more time I could have written my review right away, but it will have to wait until later tongiht.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I'm looking forward to reading it, Darcy! And I'm fine with little sex so long as the story is good!

message 1997: by Bianca (new)

Bianca | 84 comments yea, I liked the prequel. I'll definitely move it up on my TBR list!

message 1998: by Darcy (new)

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 704 comments I know people's threshold for sex differs, it is no where near erotica, more like most RS books.

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish I have to be in the mood for erotica, but the mainstream HR and RS are my favorites.

message 2000: by Bianca (new)

Bianca | 84 comments I usually read PNR but lately I have been trying to branch out to other areas like RS!
