Courtney, you have a right to be excited.
I just re-read two of the stories in

So I finished Crave and liked it. But I did mark it down due to the tough guy talk. There were so many catch phrases that just didn't make sense or that no real person would use and it just drove me nuts! I mean come on who uses the word "puss" for face, and not just once constantly. Arggggg!!!

Today I read

Mollie, those Carpathian books are addictive. I read Dark Prince for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I liked it.
Katie, I must read Hush, Hush soon. I've heard good things about it.
I'm reading
as part of my October Scare Fest.

I'm reading

No kidding, I bought them all, including the last two as they just came out in hardcover. Now that I'm on Goodreads, at least I can anticipate the next release and budget for it. I can live without steaks, but not my Feehan.
Just read

Gave up on the biography at page 191, got my Kindle back from Mom, now on to

You have to let me know what you think! I have looked at that book a bunch of times, and haven't been able to decide it I want to read it.

I sure will!
Mollie, I hope you like Dracula. I loved it!
Michelle, I'm looking forward to reading Enemy Lover.

Lady D, I liked it when I first read it, but that was over 35 years ago so I'll have to see.

I like that the latter has a psycho ex-wife in it.

I like that the l..."
I love that series, they are like crack! You really can't stop reading them when you pick up the book.

They are, Darcy! I just read the first book in the series last week and had to read the second right away. I can't believe how good they are. I also can't believe how long it took me to read Robyn Carr. I can see why so many people love her.

I've switched gears a bit and am re-reading

Ackkk! I don't think I'll be caught up for those, but I will eventually.
The first book I read by her was last month, A Summer in Sonoma. Loved it! One of the best books I've read in a long time.
Have y'all read that one?

Oooh Mollie, I'm glad I read this....I had no idea and I love this series so much! I'm all excited now!

I am reading that one right now. Am about 100 pages in and I really like it.

I've read that and most of what she's written. I don't really like some of her earliest stuff but I think anyone who sorts by publication date on her page can begin with Just Over the Mountain and go on from there and never hit a clinker.

****SPOILER****
The ass**** cheated on her! Not once, not twice, but over and over! And with two different women!!! And the worst????HE NEVER F***ING APOLOGIZES!!!!!!! No groveling, nothing! I get it. He has problems. He was in love with his now dead Indian girlfriend. Ok. But what kind of romance is this??? yeah, the sex was hot, but seriously? Oz never talks to Isolde about his past, and he's sooo convinced that she's cheating on him, that the baby isn't his.. And did I mention that he DOESN'T APOLOGIZE?????... AAAAArgh!!! What a terrible romance! I liked the first half ok, but after he first leaves her, I felt only disgust with the hero, and with that lily-livered heroine.. Seriously? She sleeps with him again while they're separated??? AAAAAAAAAArrrrgh!!!
***END SPOILER/RANT****
Please please tell me that her other books are better! I have a whole bunch of them and now I'm debating whether to give them away without having read them!
If anyone has read these, please let me know if the hero is an unrepentant post-marriage philanderer!

That'll teach me to buy the backlist of an author I've never read before

Waiting for my copy from the mail. I had gotten the Audio cds from the library and couldn't listen to it the guy sounded to strange..lol

Have you read Gaelen Foley's first Knight Miscellany book, [book:The Duke|958535]? If you have, I'd recommend Lord of Fire or Suzanne Enoch:-)
Whatever you decide to read, enjoy!

Are you on paperbackswap? This author is usually in demand, so I see a quick 9 points for you if you list them. I personally do not like her work, but I bought them one at a time (for full retail!)

I haven't read this series, and I was almost through the first disc before I realized it was a series. I did like Dave and wanted to know what was going on, so I decided to keep reading or should I say listening. I will have to go back and get the others.

Yes, you will. This is the best series I ever came across.
Yes Darcy. You might want to start from the beginning, to get to know who Dave is.
I have two babies from this series. Sam - my number one baby and then Dave.

I will have to check that one out. I do have Body Language here now and I will listen to that one next.

I just blew through it and it's great!

Lol, I am a member, but I live in Switzerland, so it'll have to wait till I move to the US... But I'll give her another try.. a couple friends from the RRRC group gave me the titles of the best, so I'll read one of those before giving up on SJ:-)
I've never read Robyn Carr.. her books really good?

Onward to

Uh Oh a match up to Bones! I can't wait to get my hands on that series.

Melanie, Robyn Carr is one of the few authors writing quality contemporary romances with no suspense or paranormal elements. She seems to rely upon her skill at sharing character growth to make these plots unforgettable. I must have read Virgin River seven or eight times by now. I think if you like Linda Lael Miller, Lori Foster, Catherine Coulter's romance work, Sandra Brown's romance work, Lisa Kleypas, Jayne Ann Krentz, or Nora Roberts, you will like Robyn Carr's work of the past ten years or so. I find her earlier work to be hit or miss. A good place to start is the Grace Valley trilogy, which is kind of a prequel to the current Virgin River series. The two single titles that were released (or is it re-released?) this summer are good, but not as good, in my opinion. Warning, she is not afraid of sensitive elements such as rape survival, infertility, spousal abuse, and the physical and emotional cost of war upon soldiers.
I'm currently reading

I've read most of her books and all of her Heroes are very and I mean very promiscuous... I know the book

I know, right? You should really read that series, it's not like the other too-popular series with two-dimensional characters and no plot. The females are badasses and the guys are every girl's wet dream come true. :3

@Mollie - Sounds like a good author:-) I'll definitely give her a try!

Adding to Melanie's comments on Robyn Carr; I loved her new book this summer, A Summer in Sonoma. That was my First RC book, and I was very impressed. Best book I've read in a long time.
