i have read the first one in this series but am not sure if i want to continue as it seems to go onto a different character or am i wrong?

i liked need better since captivate felt very much like the middle book of a trilogy, if you know what i mean ;) there were some major developments but it felt a little bit rushed. it made me excited about book 3 though, esp with the addition of new characters. still was an entertaining read :)

ballad is sort of a continuation to the first book but with a diff central character - deidre's best friend james to be specific but honestly, i liked his story better. i have to say i fell in love with james and his cool, sarcastic ways.
