New Series To Be Published

I've read the first Decoupage Mystery, and I'm considering reading the next one, too - just to see what happens in the series.
Any particular reason you didn't like the first one, Kelley?

A Cupcake Bakery Mystery by Jenn McKinlay:

I've had this one on order for awhile. I've also ordered the Farmer's Market mystery.

Killer Plot-A Books by the Bay series (JB already mentioned)
Glazed Murder-A Donut Shop Mystery (comes out end of March)
Grace Under Pressure-A Manor of Murder Mystery series
Hope that helps!

I've had GLAZED MURDER on order for awhile. I like Julie Hyzy's White House chef series, but the Manor book doesn't sound like something I'd like.

The Long Quiche Goodbye- a cheese shop mystery- sounds fun!

A Timely Vision (a missing pieces mystery) by Joyce & Jim Lavene
Haven't read any of their books in the past but this one looks intriguing

I found this on a website I stumbled upon by accident. It's www.mysteryloverskitchen.com.

I'm waiting until March 2nd so I can download Sprinkle with Murder (Cupcake Mystery) and Pretty in Ink by Karen E. Olson on my Nook.

ooooooh! That sounds FUN!

Night of the Living Deed (A Haunted Guesthouse Mystery) - That sounds like a spooky read. Thanks, Sherrie. :-)

Welcome Miki :) Wow! Looks like you are going to be busy. p.s. I don't know how you all can look forward to all these new books, I am trying to catch up with all my old books!

Thank you so much, Miki & welcome! :-)
Hope you'll enjoy 'Cozy Mysteries' - this is such a great group.

While My Pretty One Knits by Anne Canadeo
Is one small Massachusetts town big enough for two knitting shops? After Amanda Goran, owner of the Knitting Nest, is killed, this question has the police considering rival knitting-shop owner Maggie Messina as a suspect. Thankfully for Maggie, the loyal friends in her close-knit knitting group band together to prove her innocence--but can they do it? And will their friendship survive? This first book in a new series is "a charmer" (Publishers Weekly); and the second, Knit, Purl, Die, was recently published.
The Lover's Knot: A Someday Quilts Mystery by Clare O'Donohue
As she’s packing up her New York City apartment in anticipation of life as a married woman, Nell Fitzgerald is overjoyed to receive a handmade "lover’s knot" quilt as an engagement gift from her grandmother. But Nell’s life starts to unravel when her fiancé abruptly calls off the wedding. Seeking refuge, Nell goes to see her grandmother, who owns a quilt shop in picturesque Archers Rest, New York. While there, Nell enjoys the attentions of local handyman--and flirt--Marc Reed. That is, until Marc is found dead in her grandmother’s shop. This is the first in a series.

I have The Lover's Knot book, but haven't read it yet.

Thanks for the update, Denise. :-) They both sound like interesting reads.

I thought so, especially if you like the craft's series. I seem to like them even if I don't knit or quilt or scrapbook, etc. Plus you usually learn a lot about the different crafts.

Very true, Denise. :-) The different themes and learning new things about various topics are some of the best things about reading cozy mysteries.

The first book in the series was great! I just finished it a few minutes ago. The name of the book is Sprinkle with Murder

Thanks, Melodie. :-) So many new interesting series being published this year.

Wow, where have I been - totally missed this thread. This sounds super cute!!!

Thanks, Shannon. :-)
Happy Reading, everyone! :-)

Here is some info I have on new series:
In June we get MURDER PAST DUE by Miranda James (she also had the Trailer Park mysteries as Jimmie Ruth Evans)
We can't forget LEAD PIPE CINCH by Christy Evans this month (it's the second in her new series)
CAT OF THE CENTURY by Rita Mae Brown comes out next month
TRESSED TO KILL by Lila Dare is the first in a new series but I can't remember what month it comes out.
BUZZ OFF by Hannah Reed comes out soon.
A new series in October is about a Deli and hte first book is A BRISKET, A CASKET by Delia Rosen

I had not heard of this one but I certainly added it to my wishlist notebook!
