Shelby wrote: "hmmm ... Miranda James is on cozyarmchairgroup with me and I think she is a woman!"If Miranda James is also Jimmie Ruth Evans, then it is Dean James because I know for a fact that Jimmie Ruth is Dean.

Has anyone read any of his Bridge Club Mysteries?
I've only read
, the second book in the series.
I was just reading about a new 2010 book and I put it on my to-read list (I haven't actually purchased it yet). The book is titled "The Lady in the Attic" by Tara Randel. It's suppose to be the first of a series of mysteries and is centered aroud a needlecraft theme and the setting is in Maine.Has anyone read this yet?
Do you consider it to be a "cozy-mystery"?
Two others coming out in June are A Killer Plot
by Ellery Adams and Night of the Living Deed by E.J. Copperman. I've pre-ordered both of these

I believe Sheila Connolly has a new series coming out soon. It called Fundraising the Dead: A Museum Mystery. And Juliet Blackwell has a new series coming soon too called If Walls Could Talk: A Haunted Home Renovation Mystery.
Fundraising the Dead comes out in October. If Walls Could Talk: A Haunted Home Renovation Mystery is out in December.
The Quick and the Thread: An Embroidery Mystery and Sketch Me If You Can both come out in August. And Buzz Off comes out in September.
Sherrie wrote: "I believe Sheila Connolly has a new series coming out soon. It called Fundraising the Dead: A Museum Mystery. Juliet Blackwell is starting a new series (in addition to her witchcraft mysteries) called Haunted Home Repair mysteries. First one is due out in Dec, called If Walls Could Talk. Vicki Doudera began a new series in April (Darby Farr mysteries) - A House to Die For. Already mentioned were the Lila Dare series, the Paige Shelton series, Avery Aames Cheese Shop mysteries and the Memphis BBQ mysteries. But there was also
which came out in Feb. In August there'll be Miranda James' Cat in the Stacks series and Amanda Lee's Embroidery mystery
. Hannah Reed's Queen Bee mystery Buzz Off debuts in Sep as does Rita Mae Brown's new series Mags & Baxter "A Nose for Justice". The Deli mystery previously mentioned comes out in Oct and there will also be a new series by Sheila Connolly "Fundraising the Dead" (Museum mystery). And last, but certainly not least, Lorraine Bartlett's new Victoria Square series debuts in Feb 2011. Hope this is helpful!

Melodie wrote: "Here's another Delicious and Suspicious by Riley Adams. It comes out in July and is the first in a new Memphis Barbecue series."Another series that I really like, but haven't heard of any new ones coming out. Do we know if this series is done?

There's a new one coming out in this series fairly soon. I think it's in July.
Does anyone happen to keep a list of all these authors and titles (or series)? If not I am going to have to start one.
Diane wrote: "Does anyone happen to keep a list of all these authors and titles (or series)? Great offer. Great suggestion. May I add the Murders by Design Series by Jean Harrington? Cozies all. Latest in the series is Killer Kitchens
Jenn MacKinlay has a new series, a London Hat Shop series. Really like the cupcake mysteries, so I'm looking forward to the new series. Out in Aug, I think.
Finished the Cloche and Dagger and it was a fun read. Looking forward to the next in the series. I think you will enjoy it
Just started a new series by Nancy CoCo- A Candy-Coated Mystery: the first one came out in November All Fudged Up

Here is some info I have on new series:

And Jimmie Ruth Evans isn't a woman. It's a guy named Dean James who used to have something to do with Murder By the Book in Houston. I think he was the manager. He also did a cozy series under his own name in which the hero was a gay vampire named Simon Kirby-Jones that took place in a small town in England.
