Hi, I'm sorry that book won't work. Usually on the main page genre list it will say: History>American History. On this particular book, History isn't listed.

Yes, fiction is fine as long as the genre is listed on main page. There a few fiction books listed in the approved list at the beginning of this thread.

I just wanted to say thank you for writing this task. And thanks to whoever got Lila approved on this thread. I came here for ideas because I wasn't coming up with anything I was too excited about, and I saw Lila. I decided to get it from OverDrive and try it - and I loved it. It was a 5 star read for me. I finished a couple of days ago and I'm still thinking about it!

I probably never would have stumbled across it if not for this task. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it the book. Lila can also be used for the Iowa task. I don't remember what task number that is. I think it is one of 30 point tasks.
