Kristina Simon (kristinasimon) | 11213 comments 30.1 - Schatzie's task: American Independence Day 7-04
This is a TWO book task. Read one book from each option. **Total combined page count must equal 704 pages or more.

NOTE: ebooks without print versions cannot be used for tasks requiring a specific number of pages. If you read an ebook or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.

Book 1: Read a book with the genre "American History" on its main page. The genre may be stand alone or embedded. OR choose a book from this list: Best American History Books
REQUIRED: If you choose a book from the list, you must state which page of the list the book can be found on when you post.

Book 2: Read a book with a title consisting of one 4-letter word (i.e., a one word title that consists of 4 letters). Subtitles should be ignored. Numbers and/or symbols will not work. Examples: Room, Risk, Snow, Cell

Your first choice works perfectly for Book 1. But the second choice for Book 2, does NOT work. It has to be one 4-letter word title.

Trish (trishhartuk) | 3734 comments I'm guessing this is okay for option 1? Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln Doris Kearns Goodwin (916pg)

And how about Crux, Ramez Naam for the four-letter title

Mine all stopped as well. I had seen a lot of posts about people having problems with notifications, but mine had always worked. I think Goodreads may have changed something, because they all suddenly stopped!

Hi Angel, Your selection for Book 1 works and I will add it above. However, your choice for Book 2, doesn't work. The word "THE" counts as a word and the title needs just one word.

That was what I was trying to make sure of I didn't realize it needed 1 four letter word OR have 1 four letter word in it! Thanks so much!

BellaGBear | 261 comments hello

would this one be okey? Ragtime. it is History and also American literature and in the desciption it is made clear that it is about American history, but it is not on the main genre page. And its on this list: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/7... which seems to be the fiction version of the list you provided
