I'm the same way, I don't know that it will be a re-read anytime soon, but I enjoyed it. I'm just starting to collect and keep Nora books--I'm an avid library girl.

Her new books are published by Penguin (Putnam). They can't print a list of books owned by another publisher. Don't think of this as Nora publishing the new stories...this is Penguin's product.

Honeybelle Hi, I just found this group today. I'm a completly "Nora-Roberts-Newcomer" but I already love her books. I have been reading six books so far and I can't wait to read more. I startet with the Bride Quartet and the books were so great, I love the girls and I really wish I had a friend like Parker. =)

Glad to have you :-D

welcome Honeybelle! and oh, what a lovely cat you have. I haven't read any of the bride series yet, but often wish for friends in her other books, like Abra in Whiskey Beach or Roz in In the Garden or Peabody in the In Death Series.

I'm a huge Nora Roberts fan since childhood, though I haven't read not even half of her books I love the ones I read. My all time favourite is the "In the Garden" trilogy :)

Welcome "Oofie"! You'll need to give us the backstory on the name:)

Montana Sky is my most favorite of her single titles.

Giulia | 112 comments Hi, I'm Giulia, Jewels is fine too. I just read my first Nora Roberts novel, Sea Swept (Chesapeake Bay Saga #1) by Nora Roberts and I thought it was good. I've heard others are better, but I liked this one fine, she has a great handle on style.

message 415: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) | 7081 comments Mod
Welcome, Jewels! You were so lucky to start with this book, one of my favorites. There are others that are also AS good as this one, I'm my opinion. But, I think this is one of the best.

Thanks for joining and enjoy exploring other of Nora's books to read. We've got lots of opinions from other members to help you.

message 416: by Giulia (new)

Giulia | 112 comments Thanks Jonetta! Been wanting to read this for some time, but too many books around my house and not enough hours in the day. I have the other three in the series and will probably get to those before any others. I'll be looking around for recommendations for sure though.

Giulia | 112 comments Oooh, I'll have to keep that handy. I also have the Blood Brothers handy, I got it from the common room in my building and just never got around to reading it. My friend recommended it as a good read.

message 419: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 213 comments Hey Giulia...glad to see you here! I love Nora Roberts and have read them all...she was my first venture into reading romance years ago! I still have favorites that I slip out and reread from time to time...always a good, warm feeling with a HEA from Nora. And, IMO, no one is better at romance/suspense than she is writing as JD Robb!

message 420: by Giulia (new)

Giulia | 112 comments There you are! Thanks Sandra, I will give her In Death series a try one day.

message 421: by StacieH4 (new)

StacieH4 Hello, I'm StacieH4, and I am a Noraholic. I own all but three of her books, including the JD Robb titles. I don't have Promise Me Tomorrow, Dark Witch, or the Mirror Mirror anthology. I'll be getting the last two at some point I'm sure. I've read everything else except Rebellion and In From the Cold. Not sure why I haven't read those yet, but they are sitting on my shelf waiting for me.

I was a member of her message board for years. As it recently closed down, I am happy to have found a new place to chat about her work. My favorite book of hers depends on my mood…today it is Inner Harbor (the third book in the Chesapeake Bay series). Love that Phillip Quinn!

Welcome, Stacie! Sorry about [b]Promise Me Tomorrow...Nora doesn't want anyone to have that book and I think she's try to get them all off the market:)

Enjoy the group! I used to visit that message board but hadn't been on there in a while. We're glad you found us.

Melissa Blanchard (melissablanchard51) | 2 comments https://www.facebook.com/noraroberts?... … - check out new post on http://fallintothestory.com/noras-hal... … I just posted a Halloween 3 QQ for Nora on the blog. ~Laura
Just wanted to share this post with other fans of Nora. Nora's blog Fallintothestory.com is a rare opportunity to see Nora's life beyond the books and finding others who enjoy her stories. I've been reading Nora's books since 1985 or so and always gone back to her stories - they inspire me as well as feeling accepted just the way I am. I found JD Robb later - after I tried her audiobooks and fell in love with the narrator - I now have all the audiobooks. Very much like the old radio shows, I know every character by sound now. Thanks for starting this group. Melissa Blanchard (missmed51 on Amazon.com and iTunes).

BTW, I forgot to say... My all-time NR favorite book is 'Three Fates' - so far at least, because I still have a lot of her books on my TBR pile and she keeps writing like crazy, LOL...."

Love the audiobook of Three Fates the narrator is so good at shifting accents and Nora's book takes you to Europe to NY and back such a great trip. It's a favorite of mine and re-listen often. I too enjoy Naked in Death in a special way there's something about the 1st - like the first taste of love.

I love her series books more than anything. The McKade brothers are my favorite. And I'm currently obsessed with the Inn Boonsboro trilogy. I am bound determined to visit Boonsboro one day and go to all the places in the book! ;)

message 441: by Sara ♥ (new)

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 36 comments Alright. I'm in. Hi, I'm Sara from Texas. Stay-at-home mother of 2 girls (ages 1 and 3 now!). My mom is a die-hard NR fan, and has been for YEARS. I'm just starting to delve into her books. Well, her NR books anyway. I'm a HUGE J.D. Robb fan! (Hi J.D. Robb groupies! I came over to the... uhh... light side?) :) Anyway, I read the Circle Trilogy back during the whole vampire craze. (Speaking of which, can we go back to that? Vampires are SO much better than zombies! I HATE zombies!)

And then recently, I've been going through Nora's romantic suspense novels on audiobook (downloaded from the library! WOO!), sort of reverse chronologically (although I had to skip Birthright, since the audio was so bad I bailed after 5 minutes). I'm almost (PLEASE let it be over soon) done with Carolina Moon (I should have bailed on this audio, too!), so that puts me back in 2000. I always get a kick out of reading "contemporary" books that don't have cell phones in them. Although we had a family cell phone in 2000... but that was in Asia, so.... *shrugs*

My favorite, so far, is definitely Chasing Fire. I LOVED it. The fire jumping was SO INTERESTING!!! Plus, the romance was lovely, of course. :)

Sandra Hoover (sandrahoover) | 213 comments Hi Sara! I'm a huge fan of Nora's romance/suspense books and I, too, loved Chasing Fire - I've read it twice. I think Nora excels at these standalone suspense books. The Search is another one that was really good and quite a thriller!

Good to see you here, too, Azleen! Enjoy your reading and I hope you share your experiences here as well.

~~Poulomi Sylphrena Tonk$~~ Hey there. I'm Poulomi, a medical school undergraduate. I recently started reading NR,, and guess what? I'm already mad about her writings. I feel like punching myself in the face, how could i possibly not have read her books all these years?
I'm done with "The last boyfriend" and i can't wait to have the next Inn boonsboro book on my lap! :)

I'm in a sort of a dilemma right now, when i see all those of NR's series, and I can't well decide which to start before the other. Please help me out, because no one else would understand my position better than people in this group! :)
