N yeah, Lynne, i did hear about the "in death" series being a great pick by my friends. Probably the next on my booklist, alongwith "Northern lights, and "The three sisters" series.
Thanks all. :D

we are moving this weekend and as I was packing one of my bookshelves I noticed how many Nora books I have! I simply love her! I logged on goodreads to find 2 specific groups, 1 being just for fans of Nora and that is how I found y'all! thanks for having such an active group with such friendly members! I'm looking forward to the discussions here!
love from Louisiana!!

"The Reef" was my very first Nora Roberts book and I fell in love with her work instantly. Since then, I've read a few stand-alone books and series. And of course, this group is the perfect excuse to read even more. *g*
I'm glad you decided to introduce yourself, Natascha! We hope you've been enjoying the group. Belated welcome:)

My first NR novel was Angels Fall in Oct of 2012. This past Oct I decided to read all NR books and so far Ive read quite a few. Some of my faves are Three Fates, The Witness, The Search, Hidden Riches, The Reef, and Honest Illusions.
Welcome, Maribel! I hope you're enjoying the group and your journey through Nora's books. Please share your reading experiences with us in the book topics.

Welcome, Tara! Inn BoonsBoro is one of my favorites and I looked at the rooms online while reading, too.
You might want to check out Lisa Kleypas' two contemporary trilogies, the Travis series (Sugar Daddy is the first book) and Friday Harbor series (Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor is the first book).

Anyway, my favorite all-time individual Nora book is Honest Illusions, and I have read it several times. I enjoy many of the series, as well with The Circle Trilogy and Chesapeake Bay saga topping those lists.
I am excited to discuss Nora books with people who love them as much as I do! :)
Welcome Branddy! I'll bet that missing book is Promise Me Tomorrow:) I think Nora has hunted down every copy she can find!
Enjoy the group and kudos for having read every book! You are definitely a super member.

Hi, again, Christine! Glad you're here, too.
Yes, I really wanted more of the characters in The Collector, especially the two best friends. I feel that way about most of her single titles:)

I feel that way about many of Nora's series Christine, I especially felt that way after finishing Chesapeake Bay Saga and the Bride Quartet. I guess with more than one book and multiple perspectives, you really get a feel for the characters and feel immersed in their fictional world.

I know how you feel about missing the characters. I think it's natural- for a while you were a part of their family, team or circle of friends. You were right there with them as they fell in love, started a journey or solved a mystery.
It's sad when you realize all that time you spent together is over.

Here's a link to one of the topics here where members have outlined their favorites. There are some consistencies here, one of them being the series we are reading as a group for the next three months. I invite you to participate as I don't think you'll be disappointed.
