What are you currently reading... and does it have a love triangle?
I'm in the middle of the fever series at the moment. I'm about half way through book 3. I went ahead and made a post for the fever series. Not really sure if I would qualify what's going on as a Love triangle. Maybe more a lust triangle *laugh* I'm also not sure of all the different people in the mix yet, but I put the main two in the thread: barrons and v'lane.
So.... I finished the Succubus series by Richelle Mead through book 4. I'm not sure if it qualifies as a love triangle or not... Anyone have any thoughts on that?
Aimee -- I haven't read any other Mead books yet, but reading this series made me want to. *Laugh* I guess I'm the exact opposite of your situation ;)I have Storm Born sitting by my desk waiting for me to read... I'm a little hesitant about Vampire Academy since it's young adult. Is it a good series?
I haven't gotten to Vampire Academy yet. I want to, though. Storm Born was AwESOME! That's one of my favorite series...and it has a great love triangle in it.

Then, in the one were Bastien comes (that's Succubus on Top, right?), there's one with Seth, Bastien, and Georgina. Then, in the last two, there's the one between Georgina, Seth, and Maddie. And of course, Roman comes back in Succubus Heat.
FlibBityFLooB wrote: "I'm a little hesitant about Vampire Academy since it's young adult. Is it a good series?"Despite it being a young adult series, Vampire Academy is awesome. Well, at least I think so. And there are a couple love triangles throughout the series.
Right now I'm reading Lover Enshrined by J. R. Ward. There's the love triangle between Phury, Bella, and Zsadist. I really can't wait for Phury to get over his infatuation, though. LOL
I'm game to try both series after reading the Succubus series. I am curious to see how Roman will play out in book 5 of the Succubus series. Should be interesting...
Me too actually. I really didn't like Roman in Succubus Blues, but he grew on me during Succubus Heat, especially since he helped Georgina find Jerome. I actually can't wait for the 5th book to come out so I can see how Roman plays into everything. And Georgina helping plan Seth and Maddie's wedding. That oughta be fun.I haven't read Richelle's Storm Born series yet though. Haven't been able to find it in any stores.
Well, there's that little thing with Butch and Vishous..then add in Jane and Marissa on the outskirts...it's a big old freaky quadrangle!
Aimee, your thinking of Lover Unbound from the BDB series, and Syn's talking about Pleasure Unbound from the Demonica series. But, I actually love that quadrangle between Butch, V, Marissa, and Jane! LOL
OH! lack of sleep...sorry. You mentioned a BDB book earlier. Then I saw the word "Unbound" and it just kinda clicked. My bad!
Haha. That's what I figured happened. I actually did the same thing when I saw it but I clicked on the link before I said anything just to make sure. LOL

Not a triangle, but certainly an "ANGLE" ;~)"LMAO! An angle, Nhya?"
Yup Yup!
FlibBityFLooB wrote: "I havne't read the Demonica series yet... But your "angle" comment now has me curious :)"Oh you will love it! I read the 1st 2 books in 3 days and I'm on Chap 21 in the 3rd book.
I'm currently reading
and it's got more angles that you can shake a stick at LOLI'm also reading
, so far no triangles....
I am reading
. It does have a love triangle, I think. Kara seems to have feelings for a fellow agent, but also is attracted to one of the demons she is able to summon, Lord Rhyzkahl.
Susan (Suz) wrote: "I'm currently reading

I'm leaning toward Marc. He's been through so much with her already. I just hate seeing him and Jace hurt though.
I'm reading Midnight Awakening, and I suspect there will be a triangle soon. There is one man in love with the heroine from the last book in the series, so I don't think he'll be too happy about our hero falling for her in this one.
YEP! Here's another one for you to add Flibity:in the Kitty Norville series there is a love triangle with the werewolf, female protag, Kitty & a werewolf hunter named Cormac & an attorney named Ben.
I am just finishing the 3rd book in the series, Kitty Takes a Holiday and though I am still undecided about how I am liking the series, this love triangle that has just unraveled has kicked up my interest quite a bit. Funny how that happens...
Kitty Taks a Holiday is the one that finally grabbed me in that series, too. It's amazing what a little triangle can do to spice up a book.
Oooh. that's good to know about Kitty. I tried to read book 2 and finally gave up because I thought the series wasn't for me. I might just have to revisit :)I think they have them at my library. I'll have to try again...

it is okay...I wouldn't rush out and get it. I am reading it because I have all the books from the library and I really didn't have anything else to read. Book 3 was the best so far...3.5 stars but gave it 3 stars b/c it just wasn't meeting expectations for 4 stars.
Hehehe. Okay, I'll put it way down the to-read list, but I might try it again. Let me know what you think of the next book or two... :)
Currently reading Stray by Rachel Vincent. Love Triange: Marc-Faythe-Jace. I'm a little more than half way through and I'm loving it, but my hear is currently breaking for Jace. My poor baby! LOL
I definitely plan on continuing with the series, FliBittyFlooB. I just loved Jace from the like first second he came onto the scene. So I'm pretty much always gonna take his side unless he does something...you know, something. LOL.Aimee, I hear you on that! Faythe, you go ahead and have Marc. Jace will be perfectly fine, if not better, with me. LOL. I love him :)
I just read a book that was interesting and had a love triangle. I think the author had to vilify one of the characters in order to make the story less depressing. I found it to be a good book, though :)
Here's my review
Just finished the third book in the Evernight series by Claudia Gray. The love triangle between Bianca/Lucas/Balthazar still exists. It is getting weirder by the book, though. Don't want to spoil for anyone who hasn't read it... but, it reminded meof watching Lord of the Rings in the latest book.
FlibBityFLooB, what did you think of Hourglass? I've read the first two but haven't gotten my hands on the third one yet. Is it any good?Btw, I'm reading Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon. There's the Ash/Tory/Artemis triangle.
Oooh, Leah, I read Acheron earlier this month and really enjoyed it! I hope you are enjoying it :) As for Hourglass... hmmmm.. I really loved book 1, was a little disappointed in book 2. This one I checked out from the library because I was worried I wouldn't like it after book 2.
It was okay. I think I miss Bianca being at school. There are some interesting developments that occur in the book, though... So, if you liked the series you should read it to find out what happens next. Nothing will ever surprise me like I was surprised when reading Evernight, though. I didn't see the twist in that one coming at all ;)
I've read Acheron so many times and it just gets better and better every single time I read it. I love that man :)I really loved books 1 also and didn't really like book 2. I haven't read this one for lack of owning it but I'm kinda wondering like how good it could be. I've been a little iffy about book 3. But I think I'll definitely read it. I absolutely love Balthazar. Lucas I could have or not and it kinda wouldn't matter to me, but I've loved Balthazar from the beginning, LOL :D
