It's got an awesome list of contributing authors. Unfortunately it comes out in hardback, but I'll probably buy it on my kindle anyway. :D

Yes! Normally I don't go for anthologies, but I saw this posted at Smart Bitches and the GIMME GIMME GIMME reaction was very strong

Jasmine (jadorejas94) | 950 comments I don't recognize any of those authors. O.o

Neither do I, Jasmine.

message 55: by Angela (new)

Angela B Neil Gaiman and Jim Butcher I recognize but I haven't read anything by them so this anthology doesn't grab me too much

If I hit more then I see some authors I know.

message 57: by Samantha (new)

Samantha | 432 comments I'd say I'd read/heard of at least 3/4 of the authors, so I'm stoked. Especially since their genres are so different at times. :D

Carrie (Care) (care76) | 1746 comments Now I have to start making lists for 2011!

My biggest countdown will be for A Memory of Light, book 14 and the final book :( ) in The Wheel of Time series. It won't be out until early 2012 though.

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 827 comments I tried to do the fictfact thing that updates your series, but lost my motivation.

There's a document in one of my desktop folders that I'll add dates for new releases as I see them, but even that is sort of half-assed.

I know that Shadowfever, Awakened, and This Side of the Grave come out soon. That's about it.

Darcy (sunnytat462) | 2770 comments The only way that I keep up with my series is that my library lets you set up notification with your favorite authors. So as soon as they order a book I get an e-mail letting me know so I can request it. It works get to realize a new book is coming out.

Tya | 846 comments Uncommon Criminals, the second in the Heist Society series comes out this June. I'm all so very super excited. I really, really liked Heist Society. Pure fun, like tv's Leverage but with teens.

omg even though it had an unresolved ending I thought it was a one-shot!!! This is such good news I loved the first book so much

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 827 comments So I just noticed today that Insatiable by Meg Cabot has a book 2 coming out and I didn't realize it would be a series.

This makes me happy because the one thing that sort of annoyed me about book 1 when I thought it was a standalone was that it felt like not everything was wrapped up well and that there was more to the story.

Overbite by Meg Cabot

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) | 827 comments I'm cutting and pasting this in here but for some reason thought we had already talked about this book in this group but can't find where.

For all of you who were huge Sweet Valley High fans as kids, look what just came out :

Sweet Valley Confidential Ten Years Later by Francine Pascal

I've been seeing buzz on this in a few groups and sort of thought, "oh a remake..." but it's not a remake of them as teens. This is them all grown up as adults with adult problems.

I'm so needing to read this book now, just to see if they married and what has happened to them since they left high school.

Tya | 846 comments I really need to look at my TBR list more often, I had forgotten, forgotten that I had ever even *known* that there is a sequel to Bones of Faerie by Janni Lee Simmner! I LOVED that book! And there was a sequel released at the beginning of the month and my library has it on order! Woot! Can't wait!

I know, my calendar is blank for Oct onward. I just quit stalking release dates for some reason.

message 74: by Tya (new)

Tya | 846 comments Well. I liked Reckoning and Clockwork and Deadly. Jessica and A Million Suns were awful and Enshadowed left me with a cliff hanger that made me want to slap people..

I am.so.excited for Things I Can't Explain by Mitchell Kriegman I loved Clarissa when I was a kid and I did a rewatch of season one a couple of years ago and still really liked it. I wonder if the ex-turned stalker is Clifford. I wonder if there will be any mention of Clifford. I wonder what has become of that little dweeb Ferguson. I wonder WHY ON EARTH MR AND MRS DARLING DIVORCED?!?! My childhood. Oh my childhood....And my Sam! Yay!
