I still need to read a Butcher book. I've read a few short stories and I don't get into them. However, it's hard to do that when you don't understand the world and have the background information necessary to understand the relationships.

I read

Dark Legend - Christine Feehan
I want to bang my head on something. I loved the Drake Sisters, but I feel like the Carpathians books are the same stories over and over again. Maybe if there were more plot and less "take me now" moments I'd be happier, but I really don't see there being enough differences within the books to make me happy. I kind of feel like I'm reading Katie MacAlister's Dark Ones. There's just too much repetition for me to feel like I'm reading a different book.

Heather they do get a little better as the series goes as she introduces a larger story arc. So while there is the couple's story, it ends up not being the whole story.

Good to know Darcy. I figure I'll just space them out a lot more. I can't read the series one after the other like I normally do with everything else.

I've read the first two from Tales from the Underworld. I've been forcing myself not to read it all at one time since I love Armstrong. I liked to see Kristoff in the beginning. I can't wait to read the one on Elena. I'm glad they're good Darcy.

Paula those are GREAT prices for audio books, I probably would have broken down and bought them. I am still waiting for The Reckoning from the library. They have been slow on new releases lately.

I'm reading Tales of the Otherworld too. It's great.
I just finished the first 5 Lynsay Sands Argeneau books. They're fluffy, but adorable.

I also finished

oh dear, that sucks. =[

I have that one loaded on my i-pod and listen to it when I don't walk with friends, am on disc 6 and have to agree with you that it is really good. The narrator does a great job.

I also just finished a couple of books by Annette Blair. If you are looking for some fun light PNR books check her out.

Then today (I'm a bit sick so I had a lot of reading time :D) I read

I am glad to hear something good about The Body Finder, I have that as a challenge book this month and have been looking forward to it. I should get it from the library in a week or so.
Hannah, you don't have to stick to vamps here. It just seems to be what we pick. What was it about? While on my trip I read
.
The only one's I'd recommend are Blond with a Wand and Bite Me If You Can and the last one is cheesy, but adorable.

Someone on another group said that B&N was shipping it starting last Monday. I went and ordered mine right away. Some people are saying that the book is in stores now so you might want to check.

A lot of paperbacks have soft release dates and things get released as soon as they get to the store. Hardbacks are more strict. I can't wait to read it.

I really enjoyed it. I felt like it was more realistic in the relationship area. No one's obnoxiously good with witty banter, it's not love or lust at first site, or any of those other common techniques. I like that the characters aren't quite sure how to go about things. It's more reminiscent of real life since we're all so terrified of being turned down that most of us are afraid to even ask.

I just finished this one today and agree with you. It was really good.
I thought about that too. Right now I'm wishing I could get 365 books of Kate Daniels to keep me busy for the year. I'm loving it.
