I just read... And it was...

I just read Seducing Destiny and it was pretty bad. I feel that so many people were telling the author to hurry up and that she felt she had to put a book out. It was a lot more rushed than the others in the series and spent a lot more time talking in circles. The ending and the climax were both very weak. Needless to say, I was disappointed especially when this was supposed to be the last book and the big showdown didn't happen. Turns out she is going to write a 5th book.
I also finished
for the majority of this book I was really annoyed by everyone except for Simon. The ending was a little interesting ( of course they need us to keep reading the books so it had to be good) I do want to know how Jace's situation turns out. Even though I dislike him as well. As far as my least Fav characters Jocelyn and her "voice" were extremely annoying followed my Clary and her half-cocked anticks. I also read the first two books in the In the Company of Killers series
and
the first book was so good but the second one really pissed me off. Another series where the main "strong" female easily forgives the jackass male lead when he does something really unforgivable I mean he literally (view spoiler) just to prove her loyalty to him and that she was "ready" for the life. * rolls eyes to the sky*["br"]>["br"]>

I'd say give it a try and see if its for you or not.
I'm reading the Better Late Than Never book by Jenn Mckinlay. Its book 8 in the Library Lovers Mysteries and...yeah. This is another series that I think I may be done with. A handful of books ago a renowned actor of stage and screen stumbles into the library and falls head over heels in love at first sight with the librarian--who happens to just have declared her relationship over with the long held love interest of the main character. Book 7 (or maybe 6) there was no murder mystery AT. ALL. It was all about Lindsay (the librarian) facilitating between the two love interests (without ever making a decision at the end). I completely forgot the book series existed and started reading book 10. When I realized that I had skipped books 8 and 9 I went back to 8 (what Im reading now). And....I don't think I like Lindsay.Lindsay feels WAY too entitled to know other peoples business.
In this book a library book is returned 20 years overdue on the library's first amnesty day. It turns out that the book was checked out to a woman on the day that she was murdered. The prickly librarian (nicknamed The Lemon--which makes me think a thing or two about Lindsay's professionalism if thats how she refers to her employee) seems to have been friends with the deceased. And Lindsay--without a single care for the feelings of the other librarian (who hyperventilated upon finding the book) badgers her for information about the dead woman. The whole thing was just so...unfeeling. Like, who cares that your friend died. I WANT ANSWERS.
