Try , I just finished it. It was a very fun smexy book that was HILARIOUS! My husband kept looking as i was reading it because I was giggling/laughing so much thru it. I love this whole series!

Just finished alot of the characters including the mother and daughter were very immature. The beginning put me off a little with the type casting of the black best friend (weave, long fingernails, attitude, dies in the first few pages) but its a light easy read and the characters are so stupid I had to laugh out loud plenty. and I actually liked it. It was different enough from my normal teen paranormal? fantasy? I dunno what genre it is, but it was different enough from what I normally read that I really enjoyed it, it was a nice break from the regular vampire/werewolf/what-have-you.

I really liked Audra, and her story and I really liked Vane. My only complaint is that her bird is named Gavin and the boys name is Vane and I spent much longer than I'm willing to admit thinking that Vane was a nickname for Gavin and really not getting what the big problem was about.

A weird or disengaging writing style completely ruins a good story for me. I'm having that problem with Wake. It looks like most of the people here read it a few years ago and liked it but the writing style and the authors choices are driving me batty. Like the decision to introduce, what I assumed was the main plot of the book from the blurb, the murder mystery until the last fourth of the book? Annoying author choice.

I just finished last night which was kinds of adorable. Its a very, very young teen book about a 12 year old who's a great baker--she wants to be the first kid chef on the food network--but who can't read. She's also dealing wih the death of her dad in Iraq and her moms creepy abusive boyfriend (he's an Elvis impersonator who makes Foster call him Elvis and The King but only when their alone. Nothing pervy or creepy comes of it though). It was really stinkin' cute. But, it was a library copy and someone ripped a page out. Page 91/92. SO ANNOYING! And I don't know if it was the same someone but they bent all of the pages and wrote in the book. Seriously. If you want to carry on with those kinds of shennanigans...buy your own copy, douche!

I just finished
which I liked well enough. My only problem is that its a whole new world/society and she never tells us what happened to the old one. And she introduces these new...things/monsters/I don't know and she never explains what they are or why they are. She just calls them Twists and Jacks. On the one hand, I do like stories were you are just dropped in, so to speak and everything isn't explained to you. Exposition is boring! But, if you are going to do that you have to find a way to explain the basics. She's wandering through the waste on the look out for Jacks and Twists and I'm like...what?

I'm reading the Inferno Club series. So far it's pretty good. Not the Hathaways, but there's a cool secret society thing going on that's at least been a little different than a lot of other HR's.

This book and I have history. I have tried and failed to read this book SO. MANY. TIMES but since I waited Life of Pi out I decided that I would wait for Beauty Queens to get good because I've been told SO MANY TIMES that its such a good book. And it does get good but I'm annoyed/offended/uncomfortable or something. I'm not finished yet and I'm hoping that the feeling will go away.
The book is about teen beauty queens who get stranded on a deserted island. So, its not necessarily realistic but its not a supernatural book either. But ok, in this book she's talking about a transgendered person (a girl who born into a boys body)and a girl who is trying to come out of the closet and she's talking about race and all of these seemingly "deep" topics and about a girls right to own her own sexuality. But, then, there's a girl in the book where every time she gets turned on her teeth sharpen and her eyes become weird and she starts almost turning into a wolf or something. By adding that it seems like she's taking the seriousness away from the other topics and its certainly taking the seriousness away from girl sexuality. I feel like I don't know. I can't really put it into words. But wrong.

I have officially given up on Beauty Queens. I made it 6 discs in but I just can't. None of the characters are likeable. One of the girls finds another person with. a. boat on their deserted island and instead of trying to get RESCUED she decides to have nightly almost sex with him until he disappears? Seriously?! A boat crashes to shore and instead of trying to get you know, RESCUED or figuring out how to get off the dang island they line up and take turns shaving their legs and pits because the boat is pirated by reality tv pirate/rock stars? I get that the joke of the book is satire and tongue in cheek and all of that. Get it. But on top of literally reducing a womans sexuality to a bitch in heat (get it?! get it?! she turns into a dog when she's aroused!) plus having the pirate/rock star that the transgendered person be attracted to be totally cool with her having a penis I just can't. Now, I know/hope that she's going to find her one true love or whatever one day but what are the odds that its going to be the very first person that she makes a move on? Or your secret celebrity crush? Maybe the problem is that I'm taking the book to seriously and Libba Bray isn't? But then again, I never really understand her stance on sexuality. Like when she made the girls lesbians in book 3 of A Great and Terrible Beauty. Oh. What.Ever.

So, i'm reading . The banter between the characters is pretty good. Although, it's almost a constant banter. I wonder if they'll slow down as they start to open up. So far I'm enjoying the verbal sparing.

I just finished and I really liked it. I loved the vampires, and how vampires came out and coldtowns and all of it. I really liked all of the characters. I wonder if Holly will have a sequel? I think she's really good at writing damaged and not quite broken kids. I hope that there is a sequel. I really want to know what happens to Gavriel, if Aidan will be happy if Tana will beat the infection...what will happen if Tana does beat the infection...will she make it out of Coldtown what about Tana/Gavriel? I find that I am shipping them pretty dang hard at the moment.

I was about to say that I think I've been reading a crap-ton of non-spn stuff lately and then the first thing I see on this page is The Coldest Girl in Coldtown. I'm still keeping up with my things that go bump in the night.

But, I just finished which I really enjoyed. It was pure fluff and has such a pretty cover! And I'm reading which is a take on Sleeping Beauty. Sleeping Beauty ends up sleeping for 300 years and when "Prince Charming" wakes her up he's not a prince and its the 21st Century. He also thinks she's the most conceited, biggest, most spoiled rotten brat on the planet. And he's trying to get over his ex. And he's 17 and not exactly looking for his "true love" or looking to get married. Its cute so far.

I just finished which I freaking loved. It moved a bit too fast and I wish that the author had spent a bit more time explaining motivations (view spoiler)[ like Abby's past. We spend the first half of the book with it being hinted that she has this dark traumatic past that was so horrible that she moved across the country and lies about where she's from so that people won't find out. You find out later that her deep dark secret is that her father is/was a professional poker player who dragged her name through the mud when she started beating him in the game. Which....sucks. Of course it does. But it doesn't quite live up to what the author makes you think it could be. Not even when you learn that he has mobsters following him. (hide spoiler)]

In spite of how much I love Trav and Pidge I can't help but think that they would be one of those couples that break up vowing to hate each other forever and then rekindle their romance a few years later after they grow up a bit. I'm excited to read which is Beautiful disaster from Trav's pov.

I am listening to or rather, I just finished and I just want to say: What a stupid book. I disliked all of the characters. I work at a library--I've mentioned this, yes? Anyway, I had a meeting and was going home right after and the drive was about 45-to an hour. I checked out an audiobook so that I could have something to listen to on my drive home. There weren't any cool spn or teen books so I said, you can never go wrong with a Christmas story. And the weather is getting cooler and perfect. So, yay. Firstly, this woman supplements her income by writing Christmas Letters. What in the actual heck is a Christmas Letter? Is this something that is prevalent in the world and I just never noticed? Am I so uncool that no one ever sent me one? Is it something that only happens in a small section of the country? I don't know. But they are important enough that people pay her to write them.
Secondly. This is a single, childless woman. Her only interaction with children comes from her nieces that she sees whenever. Her younger sister has kids. The younger sister reads this book by this world famous child psychologist. The woman--KO--in all of her child rearing and experience decides that the book is a crock. She feels so passionately about this that she gets in such a loud fight at a bookstore with an unexpected shopper that she's banned for life. And then she bumps into the author (the way that you do) at the local coffee house and she goes out of her way to embarrass/humilitate him in front of the entire store because she doesn't like his book (which she's never actually read).
Character number 2. (I'm ignoring the love interest. I like him (in comparison to everyone else) for the most part). The nighbor. Lavon. Let me preface this by saying I do.not.like.cats. Lavon has 3 cats. KO invites Lavon over for a small cocktail party. And that's how she describes it, a cocktail party. Where she has invited people. Lavon shows up with her cat. ok. What?! Who does that? Who shows up to someone elses house with their pet. Who shows up at a party at someone elses house with a pet when you KNOW other people will be invited?! One of the other guests doesn't like cats and her cat immediately attacks him. The cat bites him, hard, on the arm and won't let go and sinks his claws into his thigh. He has to go to the emergency room and get stitches. AFterwards the dudes looses his mind and he's all I have trauma induced amnesia. But, Lavon never apologizes for her or her cat. Of course, he realizes that standing around in a friends apartment minding his own business was wrong and begs for forgiveness for her cat attacking him and they fall in love and get married.
Character 3. KOs sister. She is a horrible and self centered person. Just awful. She's obsessed with the romantic interest (Win) because he wrote the book and incessantly calls KO asking for an autograph. And then, she has a huge fight with her husband and drives to KOs house hoping to meet Win so that he can talk with her (never mind that he's a professional and people pay for his time and expertise. She wants his time and advice NOW and she has no intention of paying for it). She calls KO and tells her that she's on her way and KO tells her its not a good time (the cat shennanigans are happening) the sister says that she doesn't care and hangs up. She shows up and the police are there, the paramedics are there and she barges in, demands to know whats going on and then says she doesn't care and corners Win (its his father who has been attacked by the crazy cat).

Ok, KO has Win come over to watch her sisters kids with her so that she can prove to him that his years of research and whatever it takes to write a book like that is bull crap (which of course she does. ) and they both ask the sister not to tell anyone that he's coming. Privacy issues and all and she promises but then the very next day she says how she's been bragging to all of her friends about how he's coming to watch her kids. When KO is all but I asked you not to the sister is well, I didn't tell people when he's coming. Just that he's coming so thats ok.
There is not a single likeable character in the book and they weren't so unlikeable that it was an entertaining listen. I shall never leave my house without at least 3 audiobooks in my car again. So I'll be covered in case one just sucks out loud.

I don't have to worry about such for the next two months. Christmas music has found its way to my radio stations and I will be be-boppin' my way to and fro and spewin' saccharine music to whomever will sit still and listen until January. I listen to Christmas music all year round but this time of the year is the only time I listen to it exclusively.

Anyway. I just finished this book has some terrible reviews out there but I like it.
Its about Isadora who is the mortal daughter or Isis and Osiris. When she finds out that her parents have no desire to make her immortal--like they have Horus--she takes it very hard. She decides that if she can't have immortality- if she can't have something thats forever then she doesn't want it at all. That includes relationships (romantic and family and friends). She believes that her parents only had her to create another mortal to worship them and when Isis announces that she's pregnant (3 years early---she has a new baby every 20 years)and that its time for Isadora to move out Isaodra can't decide if she's over the moon happy or even more angry that she is already being replaced.

I liked the characters. The plot was pretty thin but I very much enjoyed the romance. I'm a soft touch. Especially during the holidays.

I did finish . It was kind of whatever. Didn't really add much or change anything to read the book from Travis' POV. One thing she did which made me laugh that she didn't do in the first one is add an epilogue that takes place on Trav and Pidge's 10 year wedding anniversary. A good ol' thumbing of the nose to those of us who said those kids wouldn't make it. What I don't understand is she's making a series where Travis' (I'm terrible with apostrophes...sorry) brothers each find the love of his life. But she ended this story with a 10 year time jump and Travis was the youngest brother so...is she going to write about what happened to Pidge and Trav (in passing) during these 10 years or is she skipping it all together and starting in on the brothers in their mid 30-40s? Weird choice.

Also, I finished which I read because of how much I enjoyed Spies and Prejudice. I gotta say, I didn't love it. It was...ok. I've started the 2nd one and I have a pretty major bone to pick with it (view spoiler)[ The first book, Silver, ends with Brianna pledging herself as a breeder (and yes, that is exactly what it sounds like. And Ew. And where are the parents? She's like 17) to the Sons. And she and Blake are absolutely in love (even though that was absolutely rushed they have magic sex that makes them fall in love instantly and something about him being the only one who can kill her because he's claimed her. Or something)and that mishap with her accidentally killing him is totes ok because she brought him back and magic love will keep them together. Gold, starts several months later and he doesn't trust her (she did kill him after all) and when his house burns down after she has a fight with his sister he's quick to tell her if she ever comes home again he'll kill her.

Ok. I feel like a pretty large chunk of the story has gone missing. In the first book their "love" was magical and they sped at least as much time denying/running away from their feelings as they do embracing it and when the magical connection "soul bond" is broken they are both relieved but still love each other and are determined to make this relationship work without it. But, we never see them together (during the first book resistance, the second book starts with them broken up and you find out why through flash backs) I don't know if I'm supposed to care. Am I supposed to want them together? If she's trying to set up a love triangle with Jacob (his name is Austin but he's the guy she would have chosen if Edw...Blake hadn't come along) then she's skipped some crucial steps. Like making me like one of the legs the triangle stands on. (hide spoiler)]

I just finished Under the Dome and I was impressed. While *tons* different than the TV show (I expected quite a bit of difference because all TV shows or movies are different than the books), however this almost had the feel of being a completely different story. This is the first Stephen King book that I've made it past the first chapter and it kept me reading what seemed like nonstop to me. I definitely recommend it.

I'm a little more than half way through and LOVING IT SO HARD. I haven't loved a romance like this since Anna and the French Kiss. But, I tell you, I'm only half way through and I feel like I'm waiting for the shoe to drop...like something horrible is going to happen and its going to go from a cute Anna/Etienne place to a Hazel/Gus thing. People. I don't think I can go through another Hazel/Gus thing.

I just finished Eleanor and Park. It didn't go to a Hazel/Gus place but DUDE it certainly left me in need of answers. And sad. I do wonder why the end of the book had so little of Eleanors voice.m SO GOOD.

If ever there was a book that needs a second narrator its
For my part, I canNOT stand Bramble. She is a god-awful witch of a girl. Its one thing to be bitchy but have good intentions and a heart of gold or something and hide it all under a thick skin, but she's not. Or, if she is you never get a glimpse of it. Ever. She's just a mean, mean spirited, self centered jerk. And then, Lord Teddy loves her? What? Why? She's awful to him. At least with Clover and her love interest there are broad hints all throughout that they are interested in each other. Its possible that I dislike Bramble so much that I missed out on all of the broad hints because I do try to tune her out.

Other than Bramble, I loved every single bit of this book. Oh, except at times for the relationship that Azalea has with her sisters. Its a very selfish relationship. Azalea is constantly mothering and looking after and seeing to every hurt feeling and stubbed toe but no one seems to do that for her. It reminds me a mothers relationship with her kids. The mother does everything for the kid but, since the kid is little and doesn't know any better, other than hugs and kisses and "i love yous" the kid doesn't do much of anything for the mother (and the mother doesn't expect it). But Azalea is not their mother and you would think that after all she does for the sisters Bramble and Clover (at least) would care about Azalea and check in on her and they never do. She must be very lonely, I think. Even surrounded by that ridiculous amount of sisters.

So, this is a trilogy. It is about a girl named Lorelei who in book one discovers that she is the descendant of a Prophetess named Arabeth and that she is destined to not only save the world---she's going to save the world before the battle begins. Ok. Thats a pretty BFD. You understand why she's freaked out for the whole series and why she waffles from trying to stand up and face her destiny and wanting to run away. (Oh, and she swallowed a demon---Lucifers second in command when she was 6).
Now, the last book in the trilogy starts and she's run away. She's hoping to buy more time, but she's inadverdanly sped time up (or something). All she knows is that the end of the world is happening in just a few days and it won't end pretty. So, after a pointless amount of time (that wasn't super interesting to be frank) she goes home after realizing that her grandparents have been getting harassed and that the end of the world is indeed happening. Now, here is what happens for a good portion of the book:

"How?"
"I don't know! But you can!"
She has some version of this conversation with every.single.character. And the war begins. Right away her two best friends and a pointless character thats introduced in this book are killed off. Her one true love (who has taken to mentioning for the first time in the entire series that they've been together for centuries. So, thats whatever)is covered in blood and fighting off multiple demons and her protector is gone and fade to black.
First the time in takes to turn the page I'm impressed. I was like....wow. An actual war with actual casualties. I'm impressed with you YA author. Typically, they tend to shy away from the picture perfect happy ending. In the space it takes to turn the page I think she's going to wake up in the hospital with whats left of her friends/followers and pull it together and then go save the damn world.
Thats not what happened.
How exactly does she save the world?
She doesn't.
Even that would have been a better ending---everyone is just chilling together in heaven and the end of the world isn't so bad but NO.
In a power move that is better known as a deus ex machina reserved for when authors write themselves into a corner we learn that somehow or another (how'd you save the world, pix? I dunno!) Lorelei has shifted the entire world into an alternate universe. A universe where when she was a kid she told her grandfather (who took really good notes and like...set an alarm clock and everything!) about every personal tragedy that occurs in the real world so he prevents it all (the horrible thing that happens between Glitch and Cameron in the 2nd grade that is constantly talked around without ever being revealed? Never happened! Lorelei's parents who die? Never happened! (Although, she still somehow has the demon that she obtained when her parents are killed) All of its prevented! But, of course they still remember that old world so they can all be amazed at Lorelei and how she saved the world.

Oh! And the boyfriend. Has somehow or another made her immortal. Because he's immortal and it would be super sad if he had to go through eternity alone. (hide spoiler)]

This makes me a bit apprehensive about her adult series. If she pulled an ending like this out of her butt for the YA series, who knows what she'll do for the adult one? I was hoping that the series was going to be 4 books and that this third book was a fake ending to the war. But, no. It just super sucked.

I just read the most RIDICULOUS book. I should have walked away---I really, really should have. But, I was in the mood for a cheesy/steamy story so I just kept right on reading. BUT. I should have walked away. I'm going to spoiler tag my issues with this book, so I don't have to worry about spoiling people. And, it will make my post not look so long :) Oh, the book is Mystery Man

(view spoiler)[ Ok. My library puts yellow stickers on all of the romance novel books so that they are easy to shelve and find. I was in the mood for a romance novel. So, I grabbed this one--I didn't read the blurb. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE BLURB. The book is about a woman Gwen (she loves her name. Its like a song) who met a man a year and a half ago. She doesn't know his name--has never seen him in the daylight (they met at a club named Club) but when she first saw him she knew she wanted to take him home. He's super good looking. So, after trying to get his attention all night long (she doesn't appear to be successful) she is sad when he stands to go. But, he doesn't leave! He comes up to her and says, "You comin' or what?" So, she lets him follow her home and they proceed to have the best one night stand EVER! Except, its not a one night stand. A few days later he sneaks into her house and they get down again. Yeah. He sneaks into her house---but he's soooooo good in bed that she ignores the creeper aspect and just says woohoo! Party time! So, this continues for a year and a half. Then the book starts.

Her sister--Ginger--is a piece of trash criminal who owes criminals and other Very Bad People over 2 million dollars. But, Gwen, who doesn't know this yet, just that her sister is in trouble mosey's on down to the local Motorcycle gang to find out whats the what--while there she meets man number 1 who falls immediately in love/lust with her. His name is Tack and he is the head of the motorcycle gang. After learning how much crap her sister is in Gwen goes home. When she makes it inside she is immediately shoved against the door and not allowed to move. Its her Mystery Man! The lover who breaks into her house 2-3 times a week whose name she doesn't know and has never seen in the daylight. In her house! And shoving her! Apparently, for the past year and a half he has been stalking her (its never referred to as stalking. This is something sweet). After their passionate night together MM (who's name is Cabe/Hawk she finds out much, much later) researched her. When he found out that she's related to Trashy, Criminal Ginger he decides that sooner or later she'll probably find herself in trouble so sometime while she wasn't there or during the night he has her house fitted with cameras and has one of his boys (you don't find out exactly what it is that he does--or that its legal until the last chapters. I spent half the book trying to figure out if he was in some sort of gang/mob lord considering that he is constantly going to or threatening to "go to war" with the motorcycle gang) follow her every single day and give him daily reports. She decides that she wants to break up with him--but he flatly shoots her down. Now that he knows how cool she is outside of bed he's decided that she's going to be his new girlfriend. No matter what she has to say about it. Which, she doesn't say too much about because he's totes tough and her sister is TRASHY and a CRIMINAL and he's crazy good in bed. So. THey are boyfriend/girlfriend now. Or something. Since she still doesn't know his name or what he does. Everytime she asks he just says, Babe. Or, Sweet Pea. Which makes her swoon because he knows what kind of bodywash she uses! SO ROMANTIC!!!! Do you know what else is SO ROMANTIC!!!!!! He's rifled through her drawers and realizes that she's on the pill and since he stalks her he knows that she's not sleeping with anyone else so he's decided that they don't need to use condoms.

Someone breaks into her house so she, naturally, calls the cops. And enter man #3 who instantly and completely falls head over heels in love/lust with her. The detective. He spends the duration of the book antagonizing Hawk and saying that he doesn't care that Hawk has "claimed" her (they constantly talk about claiming and ownership of her like she's a bag. Or a car.). Not so much trying to figure out what TRASHY CRIMINAL Ginger is up to.

Even though every single single man who is introduced in the book is immediately in love/lust with Gwen we're never told what she looks like. I read a Sailor Moon fanfic once were the author did that--she wanted the reader to feel like they were the character. I hear Stepehnie Meyer originally did that for Twilight but so many people ulitmately asked what Bella looked like that she added a description on her website and in all of the subsequent books. I think thats what this author was going for except (and maybe this is just me) most people don't walk into a room and immediately have 3 of THE HOTTEST MEN EVER!!!!!! swoon at their feet and literally fight each other to solve all of my problems. So. Fail, author. Not relatable.

I think that the story could have worked just as well if instead of him being a nameless stranger that she has never said a word to in 1 1/2 years he's someone that she hooks up with--late at night, no words exchanged he just shows up at her house and RINGS THE DOORBELL or something. He would still be The Great MM--all she knows is his name, but since she doesn't like silence she ultimately tells him about herself, enough that he feels protective of her. That would go a LONG way to take the ick out of him stalking her and breaking into her house at night. If he weren't hot he would be a rapist. (hide spoiler)]

I liked it. When I could ignored the background. No. No I didn't. There were scenes that I liked. But on the whole. No. How do you sleep with a dude for 1 1/2 years and NOT KNOW HIS NAME?! How does she accept, "Babe" and "Sweet Pea" for answers to basic questions like: WHAT'S YOUR NAME, FOOL? and WHERE DO YOU WORK? These are NOT secrets, dude. Finally started getting back into the reading mood, and I need to give YA a break. Though I did finish and , which I both enjoyed. (And thank bookness they both didn't have love triangles!)

Tried again to finish so I can finally get to book four. I keep starting and stopping. Think I'm gonna have to skim it . . . part of me is even thinking about skipping. But I can't!

Almost done with , and I'm loving this series. It's nice to know that it's good after I faithfully bought all the books without reading the first one until now!

Thinking of trying out . Anyone read it yet?

I finished which I mostly enjoyed. We spend waaaaaay too much time with the villain (especially since we don't actually learn who it is until we're mostly towards the end (it actually kind of reminded me of recent seasons of Criminal Minds episodes with the way they focused so much on the killer)) (view spoiler)[ But I did really enjoy the focus on Tasha and her descent into hatred. I wish that we would have learned why she is so afraid of vamps. We're told repeatedly that she's born after vampires have come out of the coffin so she's more opened minded than most people but we're also told that she's deeply afraid of them and that she specifically decided to work with vamps to get over her fear without ever learning what the fear was. Unless it was in one of the pages that I just skimmed instead of read....like I said waaaaaaay to much time spent with the villain. (hide spoiler)]

I hope that we spend more time in book 2 with the romance between Alex and Varik. I want to know more of why (view spoiler)[ she's so opposed to a blood-bond/bound? with him. From what I understood it wasn't that he almost killed her (which she came to terms with) but the blood bond. And her brother called her a whore for forming one with him. (hide spoiler)] I didn't understand why the Bad Thing was such a BAD THING and they don't really tell you, just show her/her brother reacting terribly to it. But, he's lived for 2000 (or was it 200? I read that Vampire Most Wanted in the same day) and never had one with anyone else...wouldn't she feel special? Especially since they were already in love. Don't Get it.

and honestly. It just made me happy :) the way that Anna and the French Kiss made me happy when that book was over.

I am reading the first in Kelley Armstrong's new YA series and....I'm not sure. I LOVED Darkest Powers and tolerated Darkness Rising (in order to see my Chlerek) and I didn't like the adult series at all--not that I gave it much of a chance, only a handful of chapters before I gave it up (I think it started with her married or something? I don't like books about married people). So, I don't like this book as much as I loved Darkest Powers and I don't dislike it as much as I do the adult series. I'm toughing it out because I'm halfway through and its finally getting interesting. My problem is that so far, none of the characters are likeable. I know that Kelley is good at taking unlikeable characters and turning them around (see Tori) without making them out of character--but its taking it too long for it to get interesting. And, seriously, I need at least one likeable character! There is one...Ronan but he's hardly in it. Boo!

The reviews for it are awful. But, its finally getting interesting and in general she's a pretty fast read. So, I'm hoping to knock it out tonight and if I still don't like it then the series will be a dnf. But...I just loved Darkest Powers so freaking much (I have no idea why...I recognize that it wasn't the most amazing thing ever) that I'm just going to keep plugging along. I'm even going to try Bitten again. I just requested the audio book from my library. Sometimes listening makes things easier.

I just read I enjoyed it for the most part but the ending kind of upset me not because of something that happened but because of everything that didn't happen. It's almost like the author promised you something and then went sikeeee hahahahaha.

In spite of my bad attitute towards Mystery Man and (to a slightly lesser extent) Beautiful Disaster I've requested them both from the library again for a re-read. Sigh. I need a cheesy romance.

So I just finished A Star Trek: The Next Generation: Time #1: A Time to Be Born (Star Trek and Saga, Volume 1 also finally finished Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men. The star trek one was good because it was star trek, if it wasn't characters I already love and hate I wouldn't have liked the book. Saga as we all know was good can't wait to read the rest and Nice Girls Don't was both funny and annoying not sure if I like any of the characters but I especially don't like the sister, the grandmother and the love interest non of them know how to treat the main character.
