message 104: by Cindy (new)

Cindy (frazerc) | 13 comments How to tell if your boyfriend [or hero:] is a bad boy:

Family
Your father hates him. Your brother hates him. Your mother disapproves of him but sees your point.

Friends
Your friends [who don't swing that way:] worry that he will hurt you. Your friends [who do swing that way:] worry that he will hurt you but think it might be worth it. His friends just look intense and say nothing.

Relationships
He's only comfortable with a few "C" words - like "control" and "casual". Words like "communicate", "compromise" and "commitment" make him run the other way. He tries to pretend [to you and to himself:] that you're only "Ms Right Now, not "Ms Right".

Behavior
Think "G" words - grumpy, grouchy, grumbling - he tends to communicate using short words having only four letters. Even if he isn't actually using them - his tone implies them. He drives you crazy but you can manipulate him. Sometimes. But he doesn't compromise about your safety. Ever.

You
He thinks you're insane to have anything to do with him. You don't agree. He doesn't want his tormented past to touch you. You don't agree. He doesn't want his dangerous present to touch you. You don't agree. He doesn't want his dark future to touch you. You don't agree. He has no idea why you want a guy like him - but he resolves to try to be the man you need starting with those "L" words like Lust and Loyalty and that other one...

Who needs a brand new pair of jeans, when you can have a shiny gun?

That's probably what a hero would think.

He may not have a baseball collection, but he probably has an eye-opening gun or knife collection.

He shops for clothes that adequately conceal the many weapons he carries, over what is the new style of men's fashion.

1. If he's a one man team and lol, a little crazy.

2. If he has the strength of incredible hulk. Okay, I wouldn't want him to look like incredible hulk and not be built like incredible hulk. When I speak about incredible hulk's strength. I am talking about, two men can't hold him down, not even three men.

3. If his own boss is afraid of him.

4. If the heroine tells him that he's bad.

message 143: by [deleted user] (new)

Ha, Arch, it took 6 grown men to hold my hubby off another player in the hockey rink once, and he was still moving down the ice...maybe he is the hulk!

lol, maybe so.

I like hockey. We use to have a professional hockey team.

I don't watch the professional on TV though. But if a movie or TV show is on and they playing hockey and a sexy hero catches my attention. I will watch him be bad on the ice.

I just don't like when they fight. I like a hero to have all his teeth.
