I totally agree with you Nita! I love Jamie! His is one of the best heroes ever written!!!

Yes, he's something else... and doesn't even have to try - that's the best part! I agree that there are a lot of well written bad-ass heroes out there, but to come across such a well written one who is just a mortal man trying to live a good life - and making us all fall in love with him every step of the way - is fantastic. He is truly the best I've read and fits all 10 attributes on the previous list (and then some).

I like D!

nice!!

1. He's Possessive - in a good way
2. He's Obsessive - in a good way
3. He's Sarcastic
4. He has a warp sense of humor
5. He shoots to kill, aim knife to..."

I am going to have to read about this Jamie.
Rae has told me some wonderful things about him, when she was reading the book. I've found the book to be too long, but if I get it, it might take me a long time to finish, but I will finish it.

It takes me longer than normal to read them. They are very long. If you get hooked right away, it seems like it takes no time at all. I found that with book 1. Book 2 and 3 I can't help but have breaks and read other things at the same time, but I still enjoy books 2 & 3.

They took me a while to read also, Alycia but I found I couldn't put it down once I did read them!

Rae,
Glad to know I am not the only one who takes a while. I find I need emotional breaks from the books. But after a while I am missing Jamie and Claire and want to find out what happens next.

I'm not into audio books, but maybe one day in the future.

There can't be a bad boy board without mentioning Karen Chance's men!
Pritkin
Louis-Cesare
Mircea
Caedmon
Marlowe
All delicious and sexy/bad in their own way. I won't lie. I'm addicted.

I LOVE that in a hero, Danielle! When it is necessary for the hero to be with the heroine in order to live, like we need oxygen to breathe, even though he knows he could hurt her or worse! *sigh*
You know he's a bad boy when with just one look he can scare away other suitors, claiming you for himself in a single expression.

This book can stand alone but there are other books about the other characters as well... It's a group of ro..."
These are great books! And yes, they are bad boy hockey players that are really nice guys deep down.

I have a few more to add:
if his brooding eyes meet the heroine's and so much heat is created that the love scene almost seems superfluous (because you just know exactly what he wants to do!)
If he's moody to the point of confusion but somehow, it's not annoying, just plain sexy

If I find the books at a library sale, they will be added to my TBR pile. Eventually, I'll read them. I like virgin heroes and a good story that catches my attention.
