Lemme know the kind u like and I can def fire away with the recommendations. ;-)
Dan, actually as that series got along towards the end, I couldn't stomach it anymore and found myself liking the show better, which is a rarity for me. Kinda like vampire diaries, love the show, despise the books. LOL

Oh, I hate it when an author doesn't do research on mythological creatures.

=) hehehhe yes it dose
do you like the author kitty thomas (the last girl) it's a (lend me) on my nook color a rely dark twisted bdsm vampire sooo good with some gore if you'r in to it let me now

Well welcome UJ and im sure with all of us to share some really great reads you will lack for nothing!
@ Tiff and Bite Me.....shame on you girlz.....your going to get Dan running to the hills with all your dirty talk!
@ True Blood/Sookie...i have to day i was forced to read the sookie series and it was decent, far fetched at times and the tv show follows the books very close for which i am glad. the cheese factor is also high with this series but still good...and well the tv is easy on the eyes.....what can i say eye candy is nice to watch!

Dan, you have inspired me to work on updating my book list - I had started it then got all involved in whatever it was that called me away, and just sort of forgot it was there. (I still do the pen and paper thing more than I do the computer listing. There is just something about a sheet of paper . . .) I sort of jump all over the place as far as genre and writing styles - and every once in awhile have the sense to display some good taste. (Laughing at myself, here!) Now that I have enough books for computer generated suggestions, it should be really interesting to see what happens. Especially since I have found I have really loosened up my standards just for the pure joy of discovery. (That's a nice way of saying I am enjoying some trashy writing!)
Hmmm - and eye candy . . . no matter what or when or where . . . it's always nice! ;)

I have been gathering "to read" titles from the different threads on here so I have a list going - but I am always open for more suggestions! Though not vamp books, I have also read PRIDE by Rachel Vincent and Walk on the Wild Side by Christine Warren. I like Vincent better. (Thought that might help with the suggestions.) Gee, until I quit being so "snobby", I didn't realize how much fun this area of reading was! (Except . . . I didn't like the Twilight books even if I did read the first two before I stopped!)
As far as other vamp books I have read - they are two by the author who got me started on this little journey. But, please let me say up front - he is a local author and because of that first vamp book, my desire to meet him, and his need for a person to do some editing - well, he and his wife have ended up being close friends and partners in crime! LOL!! However, involvement in this thread is somethings I am doing for me so I don't want to ruin it by having anyone thinking I have ulterior motives. (Dang it - I think that means I wouldn't make a good vampire!)
