I have read the first 2 books in this series and loved them both. It's an excellent series and definately worth reading.Trust me when I say I was a little stand offish about reading this series but once I started I couldn't put them down.
I strongly recommend these books. I've read all of them and loved them. They have great characters and a very well developed plot filled with twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seet the whole time.If you want to know more about it and what I thought here's the link to my review:

I didn't realize there was so much hype when I picked the book up. However, I thought it was really good. I would give it a 4.5 stars. Only because I feel like there is going to be some more greatness.
They do get better as they go on in my oppinion.
I have read all three that is out and enjoyed all of them. They are really good, easy to keep up with, and a fast read. The characters are great.

Ya they are YA, and I think that they should be appropriate enough for a 13 year old to read.

oh. well then i waz getting that confused with another book. cuz i think its called mortal instroments cuz the cover is violin girl. like the its a GIRL, but she IS a VIOLIN

But i do recommend these books, their really good.
Here's what I wrote in my review:Carissa Fray was just a normal 15 year old teenager. She was an only child and lived with her mother in an apartment in New York. A usual day for Clary was going to school, and hanging out with her best friend Simon. This was until one night when she returns home from hanging out at a club with Simon and finds her mother missing, but this not the only surprise waiting for her when she gets home that night. After discovering that something is seriously wrong she begins to search every inch of the house in hopes that she was wrong and her mother is there somewhere. But she’s not and soon Clary is face to face with the scariest creature that she has ever seen in her life and is forced to fight for her life.
She wakes up three days later in a strange, with no home to go back to, and the one last person closest to family never wants to see her again. No she is forced to live with a group of people that she knows nothing about in a whole new world that she never even knew existed. With the aid of her new friends she sets out in search of her mother, and her true identity. Her life will never be the same again.

I bought all the books and bawled my eyes out when i lost City Of Bones. They're just that good.
There are just that good, and that sucks that you lost it.
I know ive been borrowing it from the library. :,( -me crying again
That sucks, especailly when it's the weekend and you don't miss school or work :P
mortal instroments is one of the best series ever! I love it! lol. And there is another one coming out soon, but I can't remember when, sorry guys!Naomi
I read all three, I liked the story, but it could have had a little more romance. I pre-ordered A Clockwork Angel (the prequel to Mortal Instruments); I would love to pre-order City of Fallen Angels but it’s not available yet.
City of Fallen Angels doesn't come out til March of 2011. |·(

I think that there was enough romance in them, they weren't just a romance book that's why.

I think that I'll definietly reread them some time, and I can any time cause I own them so that's good. That's why I like to buy my books, even though it get expensive, I can always read them or parts of them if I want.
