was anyone grossed by Clary and jace being bro and sis? how did you handle it? i'm still coping Ughh!
Sarah, have you read all the books? Cause you find out the "big secret" at the end of the last book.
Isabell and Simon would look good, but imagine what everyone would think if Simon (a vampire) and Mia (a werewolf) got together?!!!

It is SOOOO worth the read.
Well if you can't wait a year for the next city book she is releasing the first of the Infernal Devices books 08/31/10. It's about shadowhunters in Victorian London. I didn't even realize she was coming out with another mortal instuments book and now I am going to have to wait a year! Unfair!
I loved them Jace would be the one I'd despise and then want to kiss!...LOL..just something about him!
Audrey (Lethal) its a great series i just finished city of glass and OMG i loved it cant wait for city of fallen angels to come out. definitely read it i thought it was bad too until i started reading it it will BLOW your mind!

I can tell though that I didn't regret buying them.

this is probably going to be a response to something way old but, oh well, I loved this series, I lent it to my best friend and she loved the series, her husband read the series and he doesn't read books, and he loved the series. It's a well worth read.
Yes, read it. I just finished it and it was a great series. It is a page turner that will hold your attention from beginning til end!
My son is the one who actually made me read this series and I really did enjoy it. I thought the whole incest thing was original and interesting.
i cant wait 4 the next book but what is it about becuz jace and clary already have there happy ending
The next book is actually The Clockwork Angel and I think that is a prequel to the series. Then comes city of angels, I think I read somewhere it is about Simon.
Don't quote me on this though.
It would be nice to see the story from Simon's point of view, wouldn't it?The Clockwork Angel is the first of a prequel series.
Yes read these books! They are really good. I read all three in about 4 days. I just couldn't put them down. Is it wrong to lust after Jace and have a son that's the same age as him? Perhaps so but oh well you can't help who you fallin love with right...lol
Hey guys guess what? Clare has released the cover to the first book in her new series The Infernal Devices. The first book is The Clockwork Angel, I'm sure most of you know. Here's the cover for it:

What do you all think?
Sarah wrote: "was anyone grossed by Clary and jace being bro and sis? how did you handle it? i'm still coping Ughh!"yeah but i wish they could go out i was going to day something because i finsished the series but i dont want 2 spiol i !!!! I HATE Valentine buti feel really bad for jace with the wasymacall it the cop or watever giving him a hard time
Sarah wrote: "was anyone grossed by Clary and jace being bro and sis? how did you handle it? i'm still coping Ughh!"Sarah - have you finished reading the series? If not, you definitely want to keep on reading. :)
The incests thing did not bother me at all. It reminded me of Star Wars and I love that movie! The thing that drove me nuts was the I want Jace but he is my brother and Simon is here I will try him. UGG I mean really why must there always be some kind of love triangle.
Anyway for some reason I did not get caught up in the characters in this series for me it was more about he plot, like a soap opera. ***thinking out load*** maybe that is why the incest thing did not bother me??
OMG no need i finshed it and wow it was awesome and omg i didnt kno cassandra clare is starting a new series how AWESOME!!!AHHHHHH!!!
OHMYGOODNESS the next ones after clockwork angel are, clockwork prince and then clockwork princess AHHH YAY!!!!
WOOT WOOT!!
I finished City Of Bones today, and i have to say it was really interesting. I'm definitely going to read the other two books. Valentine reminds me a lot of Hitler, similar crazy ideas and same fervor, charisma and confidence.

I was pretty grossed out by it at first, considering the fact that they has kissed and who knows what would have happened had Simon not opened Clary's door. But then i looked online and found out that it's all Valentine's lies and they are not brother and sister at all. Which I'm glad about. Because #1 i really like Clary and Jace and want to see them end up together and #2 if they where related and still ended up together, that would have been a total deal breaker for me. Normally i'm not big on spoilers, but that was thing i did not mind having spoiled for me.
