It's nice to know I was missed! Haha. I'll be graduating with a High School diploma.

Thanks, M and Alex. I don't have a title for it yet, but it's going to be about this guy who is hunting a girl who can, if you will, petrify people. It's going to be in both the guy's and the girl's perspectives though. So they're both MCs. But I'm going to finally do something that I've been wanting to do for a while: kill a main character. Muhahahaha.
Good morning, Alex! It had clouded over and the wind was blowing, and I had hoped a cool front was moving in, but it’s still warm and muggy outside.
*Killing main characters is fun, but hard. They hate me when I do it, and give me writers block so I can't kill them XP
OH AND GUESS WHAT GUYS?!
Congratulations, Kat.I don't think I could ever kill off one of my main characters, not even Ludivine...
In The Paper Tree. It's an online journal. They're still looking for submissions if you guys want to try http://the-paper-tree.co.uk/index.php
All this research lately has gotten me interested in writing some non-fiction books. Anyone want to read my film analysis essay on Kingdom of Heaven when I'm done?
Congratulations, Kat!Saira, even if I wasn't busy right now, I haven't seen the movie so I'm not sure if my reading it would be of much value.
Posted in my writing thread. I forgot a part in Sibylla's paragraph, but I kinda got the the point where I'm like, whatever. XP
Read this somewhere, wanted to share it with you guys. Have a nice day ahead! ''Wherever the bird with no feet flew,
she found trees with no limbs.’’

That's too bad, Alex. If I were you, I would probably take the entire week off. I'm sure the stats professor would understand. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Take care.
Gosh, that is some stringent attendance schedule, to follow. Just 3 days per semester!? Good to know that the pleurisy has subsided though. One less thing to worry about. Yup, school is almost-always taxing. It was for me too.
Attendance wasn’t usually a problem for me in college. I didn’t do much of the reading, so my grades depended on the notes I took in class.
Funny, my note taking was poor, and I always did the reading. Always. Sometimes more than what was required.Back to writing, though!
I don't read as much as I used to.Tease! LoL!
Enjoy your supper and have fun writing your mid-terms. Exams? Or papers? I don't think I've heard of exams being done at home.
I'm calligraphing certificates of completions for tomorrow night's students. Crude, but better than nothing. Well, then again, maybe not! LoL.
I think better would be if you were to eat something first. Now it is time for me to get supper organized.

Open book then?
Someday notebook computers will come with a Windows program that has everything you need to get through school--pre-written essays and research papers, all the answers you need to do well on exams in math and history and science.
How does anyone learn a foreign language these days if all a student has to do is use an online translator?
I guess if the student gets a few wrong on his homework, he can’t very well tell the teacher it’s Google’s fault.
Google translate is actually pretty accurate. Probably the most accurate online translator there is. And if you really work at it, it can teach you. ;)
Guy, I didn't know you did calligraphy! I've always wanted to do that! It's so beautiful, and lovely and graceful! Where did you learn? What tools do you use?
I've let my skills slide the last few years, as I've spent much more time reading and writing than when I was doing calligraphy seriously.Tools: I've used both Indian ink and Chinese (brush) calligraphy ink (has a great smell!), as well as red Japanese brush calligraphy ink. For the pens, I used to use 'proper' steel nibs of various widths, and have also used my own home made goose and crow quill pens.
Sigh! Now that I am barely doing it, I mostly used Sharpie and Staedtler calligraphy felt pens. To my surprise, they are both very good, with the Sharpie being slightly better because the felt part is a little harder. These pens are great to begin on, but for the really fine flourishes they don't cut the muster. If you want to give it a try, just get a good book, and go for it. It is fun, and I use it for birthday cards, anniversary, etc.
