Near Fresno? I have tons of relatives in Fresno. It is hot there. My grandmother used to come down (I grew up in L.A.) from Fresno for three months every summer and stay with us b/c it was so hot there (and to give my aunt, who she lived with, a break).

Hi, I'm Kadesha. I live on an island in the Caribbean, Grenada. I have been obsessed with reading since i read my first book and romance is one of my favourite genres. one of my favorite authors is Julie Garwood.

i read almost all of the books but my favourite so far is Mercy. I am currently trying to finish the buchanan clayborne series.
Welcome, Kadesha! Glad to have you with us! I'm a Julie Garwood lover, too! I cried when she quit writing historicals and switched to contemporary. (Although they're good, too)
i loved the historicals and was also disappointed when i read all. i still re read them sometimes

Oh I agree, I love Garwood. I still remember the 1st title of hers that I read. It was something with the lion in the title. I think it was Lion's Lady. Ok, so my memory isn't as great as it should be. ha ha!
Yes, wonderful book! I love the scene where Christina has her old butler remove the Lyon's shoes from the house in order to "divorce" him. What a hoot! I even put it in
my GoodReads review

Hi Everybody, I'm new to GoodReads. I love a good romance novel. I've been reading them ever since The Scarlet Pimpernel in 7th grade. Kristi, my romance faves are Nora Roberts and Janet Evanovich too. I live near "The Berg" that Evanovich writes about in NJ. My favorite Nora Roberts is The Fall of Shane MacKade. Don't ask me why. It just works every time.
I also love the Outlander series (except the last 2). RI and Michelle, I also love Julia Quinn.
I am open to trying new books. I'm glad to see some romance writers on here. I've started several of my own. Let me know if you'd like to start a writers group.
