Ok so I'm currently reading Immortal Danger by Cynthia Eden (paranormal) and I'm also working on In Bed with the Devil by Lorraine Heath. I wanted to read her series for so long. I hope it don't disappoint me.
Lorraine Heath's book was a bust for me. I could have sworn that I was going to like it more than I did. Maybe in the future I can pick back up on that series. It has so much promise too! :(Anyway I'm currently reading Stolen Fury by Elisabeth Naughton. Its a romantic suspense. So far so good.
On to Taming the Highland Bride by Lynsay Sands and then Promise Me Tonight by Sara Lindsey. I can't wait to get into these.
I read Secrets of a Scandalous Bride by Sophia Nash. Loved it! Just started The Marriage Ring by Cathy Maxwell. Not far into but enjoying it so far.
I'm currently reading two books, The Summer Hideaway (Lakeshore Chronicles, # 7) by Susan Wiggs (comtemporary) and The Horseman's Bride by Elizabeth Lane (HH) and on the top of my TBR pile is The Dead Travel Fast by Deanna Raybourn. I'll probably start TDTF next week.
I just received a DNF for a review for Secrets of a Scandalous Bride. But I see you loved it. Now I'm curious.

I read one Nash. It as called the KISS or WIDOWS KISS (something like that). The writing was competent but generic regency. I havent been tempted to read any of her subsequent bks. The latest didnt look interesting to me, plotwise.
Last week I finished A VALENTINE'S ANTHOLOGY by C. L. Kraemer, Genene Valleau, and Chrintine Young. A nice trio of sweet, romantic novellas - one a fantasy, one a contemporary, and one a Civil War historical. This afternoon I finished AUDREY AND THE MAVERICK by Elaine Levine. A western historical. An enjoyable read. Good writing, tension and action. I think it is the middle book in a trilogy. I'll be looking for her other book this week and checking to see when/if there is a book three coming out. I'm on my way to her website now.
I'm currently reading Promise Me Tonight by Sara Lindsey. Now so far I'm enjoying the book. Of course its the same ole theme but that's cool. My only problem so far is that the female is constantly crying. My goodness!
I just finished Stolen Fury by Elisabeth Naughton. It was a romance suspense novel. I LOVED it. So much action, sexual buildup and romance. This was the author's debut novel and I have to say that she has won me over that easily. I'm currently reading Passion for the Game by Sylvia Day.
Finished To Tame a Dangerous Lord a bit ago, finally posting to say I loved it! Neither the hero or the heroine let me down from start to finish, and love scenes were hawt.
I finished Revenge Wears Rubies by Renee Bernard. I didn't enjoy it very much. It was really hard to get into.
I'm starting Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean. I am trying not to let my excitement get carried away.

Just finished The Vampire and The Virgin by Kerrelyn Sparks (really liked it)and now I'm reading The Earl Claims His Wife by Cathy Maxwell.Carol L.
Samantha wrote: "Ok I'm finally reading
by Lisa Valdez."Let me know what you think about it. I was left very iffy about it.
Calila wrote: Let me know what you think about it. I was left very iffy about it."Calila I finally finished it earlier. Let me just tell you that I was totally iffy about this book. I had alot of expectations so I tried to put them aside when reading this book. There was entirely too much sexual acts and little emotional connection. I have to stress that I need my romance to have romance in it. I won't go into details to spoil it but you can check out my review. LOL.

So glad it wasn't just me. I didn't have high expectations because I haven't read Passion, but I don't see myself going back and reading it now. I think the author just isn't for me.
Awww! I think you should try Passion. It was rather good but I don't know how you would feel since you got a bad taste of this book.
I'm on to reading Persuasion by Jane Austen. It's my first Austen book, but I've seen the 2007 movie adaptation and loved it so I'm hoping it translates.
Calila, Jane Austen is great. I hope you enjoy.I just finished Ravished by Highlander by Paula Quinn and it was good.
Read both A Lady's Guide to Improper Behavior by Suzanne Enoch and Seducing an Angel by Mary Balogh. Absolutely loved the Suzanne Enoch book, and enjoyed Mary Balough's although her heroine was a little hard to like for about half the book.
First off -I ADORE romance novels. In my world everyone must have a happy ending, HOWEVER (big caps) it shouldn't come easy. I'm a bit sadistic that way.I want a story with a bit of meat to it, and if it comes from ghosts in one's past or rotting skeltons in the closet- all the better. (Am I scaring anyone yet?)
I just began a new release, Libertine's Kiss by Judith James. I have never read her work and have already put her older title, Broken Wing on my TBR list. Her protagonist has been through the ringer and it shows. Can't wait to finish it.
I'm reading
and then
I figure I need to get them out the way since she is coming out with a new series.
Hey Samantha-I read and enjoyed Tessa Dare's first series. Goddess of the Hunt may have been my favorite of the three.
I loved Tessa Dare's first series, although I think Goddess was the best. I'm really looking forward to the new one.
Reading The Notorious Scoundrel by Alexandra Benedict.About half-way through....not having the easiest time getting into it.
ETA: I finished it. Really disliked it, mainly just had a really hard time getting into it. I mostly had to force myself to keep reading which could've been just the mood I was in....but the ending was so rushed. Seemed like there was no plan on how to end it so she just whipped something up that fit in 2 pages.
Yes agree that series was really good. I enjoyed it. I agree that Goddess was the best. I look forward to reading more from her. I'm reading When Seducing a Duke by Kathryn Smith. I figure since I've been reading alot of contemporaries, I need to get a historical in there.
Why is When Seducing a Duke by Kathryn Smith not living up to my expectations? This book have a lot of inconsistencies especially with the dialogue. Some of the dialogue is historically inaccurate. People don't speak that way. The back and forth is working my nerves as well. We'll see how this one ends.
Read Married By Morning by Lisa Kleypas. Again I really really loved it! This week was great for books!
I just finished One Dance with a Duke by Tessa Dare. I'm midway through Instant Gratification by Jill Shalvis.
Hey!!! I am currently reading The Seduction of an Unknown Lady by Samantha James, I just started reading her books and love em'!!!
was finally able to get my hands on One Dance with a Duke by Tessa Dare. Great read, highly recommended. In fact all her books are =)
I received Private Arrangements by Sherry Thomas yesterday and read the whole thing in one sitting. Fabulous Historical Romance - beautifully written.Private Arrangements
