Lori (tnbbc) We have to take him to Kindergarden Registration today, and I hate that he is even OLD ENOUGH for kindergarden....

He is my youngest, my little baby, and now I hate that I cant even call him that anymore!

I hate that the ages of my children make me feel old!

I hate that I feel old just based on the ages of my children!

Joanie When my friend had to take her "baby" to resister for kindergarten she wound up deciding to have another baby-watch out!

Lori (tnbbc) Joanie... funny, i did the same thing the first time around... I had my youngest when my oldest was in Kindergarden.. But i am offically done. No more babies for me (ahhh...)

But... i still feel old. And I know it doesnt get any easier. First its the baby in Kindergarden, then its My oldest getting his licence, then they are graduating... ugh...

Hasnt anyone patented a time-freezer yet?

Lori Well I just snuck a look at your age. Don't you go telling me how old you feel! :D

But yeah that's rough. Corny but true - they grow up so fast.

Meanwhile, occasionally I count the years til mine leaves for college. Peace and quiet! But I know I'll be a basket case.

Yet - oh horror - he wondered just a month ago if he went to U of Wash if he would still live at home. *shock*

Sitara (sitaramw) again, big deal! i would be happy if my children were getting older! that means that they get more independent(though they get annoying..) reasons to like your children as they get older
1)they dont scream for things in public places
2)they just get plain mature
3)they'll start being more independent therefore you dont have to buy them there stuff anymore
4)when they move out, you have way more time and sapce to relax without worrying.
i know that you love your children and dont want to let go of them but it'll be a relief

i am a child and i know that a lot of children/teens would get very offended if they heard you say that (you childs turining 5, you hate it blahblahblah...) we all want to get older because we are more independant. so (even if his birthday is past) for your sons birthday, be happy for him! children love birthdays and getting year older! its something we look forward to! be happy along with your son. share his happiness!( isound like a hallmark card)or a counselour...sorry!

Lori (tnbbc) Purple Dino... please, do not think that i would wish for my children to stay in diapers and throw temper tantrums.... Good god, no....

Ask your mommy and daddy about it. I wouldnt expect you to understand till you had kids of your own.

And by the way, why are you in a room full of haters is you are a happy child? what have you got to be full of hate about?
