I finally finished ... I found that one incredibly boring and it took a couple weeks for me to muddle through it.

Now I'm reading an advance copy of which I'm really enjoying! Ian gets his own spinoff series! Finally! I'm trying to savor it or I'd probably be done already. I'll probably finish it tonight though in all honesty.....

I haven't been reading much but I did finish Heir of Fire and liked it a lot - 5 stars

I listened to The Handmaid's Tale and while the story was fine, Claire Danes did a great job narrating - 3.5 stars

I'm 7% into reading by Sarah J. Maas - feeling sad as this is the last book in what has been an incredible and a favorite series of mine. But also excited to read what I know will be a truly great book, can't wait to find out what will happen to all my favorite characters and how all the threads in the story will wrap up.

I finished my advanced copy of and I really enjoyed it! It left off on a big cliffhanger though so I'm dying for the next book...

Sillylittlefishey--thanks for the heads up. Means I won't be getting that Jeaniene Frost book until the next one comes out. I hate, hate, hate cliff hangers and refuse to buy or read the book until the next one is out. (Mainly because I read so many books in a year that remembering who did what and why from a cliff hanger is hard.)

I hate cliff hangers too. If an author has to write a cliffy then she loses me as a reader.

I finished this book. It was not good. It was repetitious and while I'm not a prude and cuss IRL, the amount of cussing in this book was ridiculous and kept throwing me out of the story - 2 stars

I read Queen Takes Knights . Well, this was different from what I normally read. The mythology of these vampires was interesting but everything happened so fast, I didn't get a chance to care about the characters or their plight - 2.5 stars

I dnf'd listening to The Glittering Court at 37%. I thought the narrator did a good job but the story was slow moving, pretty shallow and the MC was exceedingly selfish. I hated the choices she was making and not thinking about how it would affect the people she supposedly cares about.

I don't have anything lined up yet. I seem to be in a bit of a funk.

I finished , and for me, I rated it 4 stars. I couldn't put the book down, but due to the (view spoiler)[ sheer volume of deaths, non-stop battle scenes, long torture of Aelin, and most of Aelin and Dorian's powers being ripped away (hide spoiler)] it knocked it down a star from me - however, the entire series is 5 stars, and I am going to miss this series.

Currently reading by Laurie Roma - not impressed so far though

Not a romance, a darker fantasy.

Priest of Bones. A former gang leader comes back from a war he was forced to fight for/drafted into, and he wants his businesses and his life back. Fantasy with some character deaths so far.

So I dropped as I thought it was boring and I wasn't connecting with any of the characters in the book at all. Not worth my time - DNF.

Now I'm about halfway through by Thea Harrison - so far I don't really care for it, it's not awesome like most of her books are. Still plowing through it because I like the author so much.

I'm reading by Kristen Ashley. I'm 59% of the way through and I'm hooked into the story BUT I just have to rant ---- because the 2 MC's are driving me bananas. She even calls herself a slut and boy, do I agree! I've been yelling at them (the MCs) all day long. Hahaha.

I liked it loads, worth the hype, even if book hype does go a bit overboard most of the time. I had a few niggles such as about the dramarama, but TBH that tends to be the case with many a strict romance for me. If you're interested in another autistic (own voices) lady MC, I'd highly suggest too which is very similar in tone albeit a British version with loads of our lovely "isms"!

I finished the very beautifully written by the master that is TJ Klune and have started non-fic November with a bang.

So far I've finished which was eye-opening in it's honesty about her behavior and am halfway through which is surprisingly funny, no HILARIOUS, for what it is. The book world is so US centric, and I never really mind that, but it's always such a treat to come across something that is to unapologetically british (of the regional variety not the the plum in mouth type that I really hate) in language that even before I take in the content the prose always makes me smile... or in this case laugh out loud, hysterically at times, such as on the bus earlier today!
