This month I''m reading the immensely hyped The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare for the first time (currently on Clockwork Prince, book 2). I'm quite disappointed at how much I'm not enjoying it though, I'm finding it rather boring. Think it is going to be 2 stars. Maybe I'm growing out of YA - a worrying thought!

Just finished Chained to the Devil's Son by Shea Swain, absolutely loved it. Next up: the Narnia series (in order C S Lewis wrote them) as part of a family & friends book reading club challenge which needed to include the children as well as the adults - I was told my nephew picked this challenge, but I think it was really his mum!
After the challenge I am stepping back into the adult world with a nice PNR shape-shifter bear loving - I am going to try a Becca Fanning book after reading some reviews on GR.

I used to like the early Laurell K. Hamilton. But I like monogamy in my books so the later books made me stop reading the series.

Anyone have any good vampire book recs? I've read the Black Dagger Brotherhood and the Vampires in America series. Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series is really good too although it's vampires and angels.

DemetraP: I enjoyed The Sons of Navarus series by Gabrielle Bissett. There are eight books (including 2 novellas). I don't remember how I found it, but I liked it (the cover art probably drew me - it usually does wandering through a bookstore)

DemetraP: me again. I also really liked the Clare Point Series. I know I bought this first book for the cover (lol) Its unlike any vampire books I've read. The first book is Eternal by VK Forrest. I can't pull it up under the "addbook/author" I do know VK Forrest is a surname for Colleen Faulkner.

Yeah...know how you feel. I actually lost interest at about 65 percent and moved onto other books for now. I really cant wait for ...this is my all time favorite RH series.

Unfortunately was a DNF for me - I grew to detest the heroine, who was one of the most childish and annoying characters I've come across in some time. Made it halfway before I realized my time was better spent elsewhere.

Instead, I'm now reading by Suzanne Wright and am loving it so far!

Wanted to get re-acquainted the films are a great disappointed the first three were good but the others disgusting if you never read the books.
I had the hardcover lending from the municipal library. I've downloaded those a few years back and reading it is pure bliss

I'm so glad I dropped that book - instead, I ended up reading two back to back books which I rated 5-star reads, and I consider myself a tough grader. I just finished and it was such a terrifically great read, could not put it down. I think Maas is truly wonderful at both world and character building - I'm so invested in this series.

Hard to follow these last two books, but now I've started by Shelly Laurenston
