Not a favorite. The story was not very unique, the vamp myth so-so, modern world vampires are known (i.e. Anita Blake or Sookie Stackhouse).
But what killed it was the Main female character slash love interest. She was just inconsistent and annoying.
Still the next one with a different female protag sounds promising...
Think I'm going to start on

Written in Red I thought was just fantastic. The best part was I went into it rather clueless. So pleased it is a series :-)

What a way to reunite with your man...(view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I'm on a fiction fast right now. I am not allowing myself to read any fiction while I am writing my novel, but as soon as I start reading fiction again, I will let you guys know what I'm reading. In the meantime, I'd love to hear some of your suggestions on what I should read when my fiction fast is over. I prefer something humorous, intelligent, obscure, arcane, esoteric and thought provoking.

Not reading anything right now, but at the Reader & Author Get Together in Ohio I picked up

I loved the humor, the fast paced and the storyline of Charley Davidson series.

Nooooo... Not my Crossfire series....

Really, sorry you didn't enjoyed it. I thought it was different and caught my attention from the beginning to the end. I'm up to date and waiting patiently next book. PNR with a splash of sci fi... To me.

It seemed as though there was no progression throughout the book. However, new problems were created.

and maybe this other one a lot of mutual friends have suggested. It sounds like a twisted Fifty Shades....we'll see.

Thanks. Just wondering if I should keep reading, as I know the first three were written back when, and now she's writing newer ones in the same series and I'm sure her skills are better now :)

Well I'm only one person, but I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite series, I've read up to the last release, and i'm dying for the next one to come out.

For me, I loved the first two books (Syn is definitely my favorite of the boys and his book is my favorite), but three was a letdown. The fourth one was better and I absolutely loved Darling's.

Ahh! Darling :)

Darling's is my all time fav :SWOONS:

He has one of the saddest and most horrifying stories I've read. His book was humungous and it was worth every minute.

Yes it was
