I read the excerpt and it does sound like a good read... I might pick it up.

Finished - 3.5 stars. I enjoyed the fact that wolf shifters were really the only paranormal aspect of the book which otherwise dealt with real life problems a rancher might encounter. The writing did not feel the smoothest at times, and I wish there was a little more steam though I do enjoy a slow burn romance. The one other paranormal aspect of the book felt a little contrived but it didn't ruin the book for me. What did make me mad? One word - cliffhanger. Grrrr.

I just finished the series. I wasn't too keen on book 1 and 2 but the rest were fantastic and I'm glad I kept going.

That's good to know! I loved Slave to Sensation and I've really liked the short stories as well. My only problem with Visions of Heat is that it seemed like a repeat with different characters.

I'm about where you're at too but I have to cut myself off after 30pgs. I'm taking my sweet time and it's so worth it...bc the truth is...all I want is Blay and Qhuinn and I can easily skip thru and read about them first. But I'm not bc patient is the virtue to get my prize!

I really liked the way she brought Miranda and Deven together in this one. I can't wait to find out what's up with David!
