What are you reading right now?

ROTFLMAO.....hahahahahahahah. The Great Gazoo

Seriously, that's what I pictured when he talked about (was it the wizard?) Ungh, I hated that.

It might just be me. Everyone else seem to still love them all as much as the first three.

I haven't started Rehv's book yet. I've also decided to take a BDB break but when I do continue with the series I'll be reading the BDB insiders guide before Rehv's book. I'm excited for John's book, can't wait for more Qhuinn and Blay moments. :)

Oh Slammed is so AWESOME! and book 2 Point Of Retreat is just as great :) can't wait for Colleen Hoover's next This Girl one so excited!

Yeah, I really didn't care for what JR Ward did woth Phury's story. It ruined my image of Phury and I never really liked him the same way after that.

Oh I'm so happy because I have this

Yeah, it was called the wizard, lol. I hated it also, it was just too weird and annoying.

The Demonica series is really good I liked all 5 books in the series and looking forward to reading her Lords Of Deliverance spinoff too.

I really loved both those books too!! I read alot of books but those two stuck with me, I think the poetry helped in keeping the story fresh in my mind

TOTALLY agree with you there, P.A. I just couldn't stand those imaginary moments Phury has throughout the book either. I repeat, it was my least favorite book so far. And now I just got up the courage to start

If you liked Rhev in this book, you'll love him in

...and yet I kept coming back for more. She does have a great foundation and characters, but at times it felt like she gots pay per words, lol. The manila folder that had her family information must have mentioned like a million times, LOL.
With all of these complaints, yet we kept coming back...if this is not proof it's still a great read, I don't know what is.

LOL, LMAO...thanks!

But now I'm super excited because I finally got

I thought that wasn't out til the end of the month? Am I wrong?
The shower scene made up for it though, didn't it?

I felt the same way about Spade's book. But I agree with PA that the shower scene made the book worth the read. He can take me to Vegas anytime.

Mitabird, the third book sold me on the series. It's my favorite of the bunch.

Good to know bc I stopped for other series after 2 bks too.

Totally agree, but I'll come back to this series later. Just ck'd out and saw that my library has 3 audiobooks for

The books really start to pick up after book 2. I can't wait for

i just read

it was pretty good lots of naughty bits but it was free on ibooks ;)

That series gets better and better with each book. I was hooked by book 3.

I thought this was a good series as well, though book 4 was disappointing, IMO.

@PA which series were you referring to? the scangaurds or mercy?

Chelle, I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Slammed. But I thought Point of Retreat wasn't necessary. It rehashed info, and could have been a novella. I just don't feel that it really advanced the story. But Slammed is a great, great great fead!!
@Crazymore: Make sure you read the novella called Alpha & Omega: A Companion Novella to Cry Wolf before you read Cry Wolf. The background really sets up book 1 well. I believe it is also in the On The Prowl anthology.

Chelle..."
I am actually enjoying Point of Retreat but I totally want to "kilt" a certain ex-girlfriend.

Mercy really becomes a more feminine and vulnerable character in the third book.

I'm also reading

Yup I totally agree that exgirlfriend needs to get real dead for sure.

Hmm...maybe I need to move this up my list. Um, is there any s-e-x in it? lol

Not much as s-e-x as Cat & Bones, darn... but enough to keep the romance going.

Thanks, I'll ck that out first.

I'm only at 26% but I'm starting to think that the hype was a bit too high.
It's a nice read but it comes after I read City of Ghosts, Downside, and I think it's suffering from it!
All the books I'm reading after are not gripping my attention. Maybe I should just stick with Downside until the end!

Yeppers, old Phury got screwed on his story. It was disappointing, but the rest of the bk was pretty good and Rhev's bk more than makes up for the disappointment of Phury's story. I didn't even really like Rhev until his bk, now I love him..

I really didn't like Phury's story, and it was disappointing because I liked him so much before his book. I hated that imaginary guy he talked to (can't remember what he called him) Every time he talked to him this is what I pictured
