What are you reading right now?

I'm only on the third book I've been reading some new realeases in between, but now I'm going to stick with it until I'm done and so far I'm with you, I love this series!!!!

I will definitely read it then! I have already started the Midnight Breed series and I liked it, but I didn't find it as entertaining as the BDB or the DH series. I'll keep reading it though, I'm on the third book of the series. :)

Just finished Shadowflame! I wrote a fairly lengthy review but in a nutshell it was a four star read for me although I had a few issues with the "relationship bomb" revealed in the middle. Don't know if I would have been as understanding as Miranda. But I loved the emotions it stirred up as a reader. Looking forward to reading Shadow's Fall, should get my copy in the mail next week ready for the buddy read.

I'd love to read along with you two and possibly Abby ... BUT I'm waiting for my book from the library, so I don't know exactly when it'll come in. I can't wait though.

I'm with you on this series. I love Cat and Bones!

Agree, and I too loved the emotional turmoil this storyline had pulled me into. I'd be so hurt and would take longer to heal...if I can get over it. He needed to feel the pain and the betrayal. That said, for someone who loved so passionately, David cannot not have loved over his long life. I don't know, I just felt the pain for all of their relationships.
Love to have you as reading buddies ... but it might be awhile before I get mine from the library. If you girls can't wait, please read. I'll catch up once I get mine.

I say give book 1 a try and if you don't like it, stop reading because each book is pretty similar.

I just felt like the author was very misleading because book 1 had a completely different tone than book 2. I feel like the author did a bait-and-switch on her readers. But I still re-read book one.

I thought Jusice's book and Tigers where the two best books....although I did like Valiant.

Are you waiting for the library to get their copy, or are you on the wait list with people ahead of you? I'be been really lucky with my library getting new releases (at least hardbacks) in right away. And I'm obsessive enough to get on the wait list months in advance.
Is there a place to start a buddy read thread for

I will definitely give it a try. I will put it on my Nook Wish List today. I have several books to read before I'm done with the Psy-Changeling series.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Oh and I definitely agree with those who compared Reyes to Barrons. I'm thinking my dream threesome would be me, Reyes and Barrons as of right now. TMI? Possibly, but you get the point.
These books are a bit like the Anita Blake series, except less trashy and much better, however the author could lay off the one-liners. They make it feel like she's trying too hard, but overall great read.

Christine, i don't know either so I posted a question to the Mods in Questions and Concerns folder so hopefully we will get an answer soon. I should get my copy in the mail next week. (Of Shadow's Fall)

The stories can be silly but I love them. I do not have to put a lot of thought behind them.

I just put both of those on my TBR. If you read them soon, let us know what the deal is. They seem quite interesting.

I like her silly humor too. It's fluffy but fun. I also like the Argeneau series by Lynsay Sands, it's similar to the Love at Stake series with it's silly story lines.

Sounds interesting. Another book to put on TBR. How many can you have on GR? Does anyone know?

That was my biggest problem with the book. I enjoyed the book but the "Daddy" just bothered me so much. I would still recommend if you can get over the Daddy.

I have more on my TBR than I have read and it grows faster than my read pile....we need a DNF pile too.

I have number 2 in "holding position" on my library waiting list...though I had #1 for Fifty Shades forever, sigh...
I hope you get a reading buddy going. I'll catch up with you guys as soon as I can.

Too much partying, didn't get as much read as I wanted, but started

I loved forbidden pleasure.
I am reading Bared to you by Sylvia Day and LOVING this book. It's like Fifty Shades of Grey, but better. IMO. I started at 5pm last night and couldn't put it down until 2 am. Almost done

So far, I've only read this one and

Just started

I read Fifty Shades & loved it, so I'm taking your word for it that Bared to You is good & added it to my "to-read" list. I'm really not into BDSM, but I'll try another one & see how it goes.

It don't think it's YA. The basic love triangle continues throughout the five-book series, but ultimately she figures out which man she loves and there is a 'happily ever after'.

Definitely not YA. I really liked this series although I would have picked a different guy in the end but that is just me. I liked both so I don't think she made a bad choice I just preferred one over the other.

I wouldn't in any way classify this book a BDSM. The hero is definitely ALPHA but not controlling. There is less BDSM than 50

Join the club, Abby. Are you going to keep reading the series? Hopefully our buddy read of Shadow's Fall will start soon.
