@ P.A. & Crazy4more,

It was awesome and they surely get better from here!

Triple H, I'm not very far into Soulless but am liking it. It's very .... different.

I think it's because as you go the McKays start to feel like family. I love them all. I especially liked book 5 with Callie, Trevor and Edgard. It was excellent.

Love this website, I have read so many good books I've never heard of or wouldn't have tried and miss out on if not recommended on here :)

I want to read Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I've been eyeing it as it sits on my daughter's bookshelf, lol. Do you like the Carriger book? I *loved* it! It was my favorite series discovery last year.

I'm really liking Soulless. Haven't read much but it's quirky, different.

I know the feeling I absolutely love the entire Fifty trilogy. I'm so jealous that ur reading it! Makes me want ti go n re-read it right now :D

I'm reading the first book in the series right now. Almost done with it and i love it! I usually just read pnr & uf but I saw so many people hear talking about it I had to try it. I didn't read any reviews and no clue what it was about so I was a bit surprised by it all. It has sucked me in just like Twilight did. I'm not that big a fan of young adult books so I love this even more.

The hardest thing was trying to read another series right after it. Hard to match the passion in that one.

Book 2 also ended quite differently than I thought it would, and she mixes things up even more in book 3. Not at all where I thought she was taking it after the set up in book 1.

I was very disappointed with Mary Janice Davidson's latest in the Queen Betsy series so I needed something to get the bad taste out of my mind.

Ha, PA< I'm going on a long haul plane flight in a few months and I intend loading up my kindle with Books 4 and especially Book 5 to while away the hours... I know they will hold my attention (Hope nobody is reading over my shoulder, they will get a shock...

I thought I'd read everything by this author, but missed this one.

I loved Chassie, Trevor and Edgard's book too. Even though I would have been happy for Chassie and Trevor bc they both deserved so much happiness...but once Trevor came into the picture, that's when you realized three were soooo much better than two.

I HATE IT WHEN THAT HAPPENS! you can't just shut off the afterglow of a great book. Still waiting for my library, sigh....

OMG! I felt the same way.I ended up rereading the first one again. I was totally sucked into the world of Fifty. It would be great if the author wrote another book from his point of view. There were so many things that he did or felt that we have no idea what it was. Even the people he knew, you wonder what was up.

Thanks for the recommendations. I will look those up.

You will love them. I loved all the action mixed in with the mystery and romance. Just very fast paced fun stories. I just finished the second one

J.R. Ward loves to write BDB Warriors as torn when falling in love with someone. They always have some other agenda that they are battling when finding someone...except Rhage & Butch....
She is always writing her heros having to overcome some stumbling block before letting the feelings in. Quite often they don't get what they think they need and get something else instead....
(view spoiler) And now we wonder about Quinn....
I have a feeling that Ward is going to hook her up with Layla. I mean imagine he spends book upon book salivating after Blay only to find his true love right under his nose?
I'm just saying...it could happen.

I've got to say, I'm on you with this one, Katya. (view spoiler)
I do wish she would stop stringing us a long with their relationship and resolve it one way or another. I LOVE Qhuiin, but I've had enough.

I really like this series, but I am tired of the whole Rachel/Ivy thing, too. Every time I think Rachel has established where she stands on the issue, and we're going to move on, we end up revisiting it. Again. Let's move on already.

That book was my least favorite of the series. I've read all of them and the last couple of books finally seem to put the Ivy/Rachel thing to rest. I really, really hope she doesn't bring it back up again. The last book

Yes, Christine....you and I are on the same page....plus, I think JRW likes to tease her readers....she seems the type. The only difference here is (view spoiler) of course, I could be way off base.
